I got banned for a lot less then Super J stupidity Prodiddy what's the deal??

Seriously though, even if I disagree with some stuff you say I know you're a fan. SuperJ is just a dick.

I apologize if I offend you guys or you guys want me gone or have a promblem with me. I just am frustrted with the team's play and direction. Everybody I ever talk to makes fun of the Bobcats and I never will get enough off it. I just want us to be a respectful franchise again and I take an unpopular stance on this team.

I have a lot of Kemba hate... but really, the issue is that he is the #2 option on this team and that's not OK.  I think Kemba would be fine as the 3rd or 4th option but as the 2nd, no way.  So you either need to upgrade one of the 2 and 3 spots to bump Kemba down, or you need to bring in a legit player at the 1 spot and move on from Kemba.  I think it's easier to upgrade the 2 or the 3 spot.

He avg. 2 less points a game then Kyrie and he shouldn't be a 2nd option scorer?? Lol

I would like for the anti Kemba crowd to compare his numbers to all the top 10 guards in the league. Then come talk to me.

My math skills aren't what they once were, but it is a 3 point swing by my calculations.  And Irving had a down year compared to his Soph year, where he averaged almost 5 points more than Kemba.  Let's not look at FG% either or that Irving isn't playing with a legit big.

I'm trying to figure how you add an All-Star capable big and your FG% goes down?  That's what happened with Kemba.

He should be the 3rd or 4th option on the team.

As far as where Kemba is among the top PGs in the league:

He is 9th in scoring, 23rd in FG%, and 38th in 3 PT %.  That sounds like 3rd or 4th option type stuff to me.

Are you giving any consideration to the fact that Kemba is the only peremeriter player who can create his own shot. So he is always the late in the shot clock option.

Plus Kyrie has more pick and pop option outside shooters and scorer on the team then Kemba had most of the season.

Kemba mentality and game is perfect for a 2nd /3rd option scorer on most nights.

I'm a big Kemba fan, but he is not a 2nd option on a contender.

He is a volume scorer and not very consistent. Granted he can look like a legit #2 option at times, but far too often he looks like a guy shouldering too much of the load. I mean he shot 39% from the field and 33% from three. His numbers were a bit down from last season when you look at efficiency. His defense was definitely improved this season despite going from 2 spg last season to 1.2 spg this season. The best thing that could happen for Kemba is to get a legit #2 scoring option and a SF/SG that can stretch the floor (although I love MKG) or get a couple of #3 scoring options like a Rudy Gay and an Arron Afflalo. Couple that in with Cody Zeller developing into a good pick and roll option for Kemba and we have ourselves a team. Obviously I don't know how viable this whole scenario is though.

Kemba

Afflalo

Gay

Zeller

Big Al

The problem is the ball is in Kemba's hands way too much.  He leads the NBA in touches/ game (by a LOT), not because he ball hogs but because nobody else on the team can do anything with the ball.  http://stats.nba.com/playerTrackingTouches.html?SeasonType=Regular%20Season&Season=2013-14&pageNo=1&rowsPerPage=25&sortField=TCH&sortOrder=DES

His shooting percentage isnt good because guess what happens on every play we cant get the ball into Big Al in the post?  The rest of the team plays hot potato with the ball until it ends up in Kemba's hands and he takes a bad shot at the end of the shot clock.

The team doesnt need a better ball-handling/scoring option than Kemba, it desperately needs a half decent option other than Kemba.  Seriously guys, who is the 2nd best player on the team at creating off the dribble?  Gerald Henderson?

Sadly, McBob is probably the second best with the ball in his hands.

That would be 1 of the worst defensive starting 5 ever.

People need to realize the reason we had a top 6 defense is MKG can cover up for other players on defense.

If you get Afflio. Him and Mkg can be a great combo on the wings.

Kemba is an inefficient volume scorer... so let's sign Rudy Gay!!! Gay is a team killer, you could kind of see Memphis improving with him gone but Toronto went from being in the Wiggins sweepstakes to the third seed post-Gay. Sacramento has a top young center and is still at the top of the draft. Gay's teams notoriously perform at a level LESS than the sum of their parts.

Kemba was forced to shoot more out of necessity, especially since Hendo consistently fails to own up to his contact. Once Kemba gained report with Al he became a much more efficient floor general, shooting is definitely a work in progress though.

Gay only really struggled in Toronto. The rest of his career he has been an 18-20 ppg scorer at 45% from the field. One big reason why he struggled in Toronto is because he had the green-light to shoot as much as he wants and was forced to shoot that much. In Charlotte with Big Al, Kemba, and possibly Afflalo he would not get more than 15 shots a game or so. I could even get on board with Deng, but he's not at Rudy Gay's level offensively and defensively he isn't that much better too (Rudy can be a very solid defensive player). We just can't go into the season with Big Al and Kemba being our primary options again. Even if we added Afflalo I just don't see him as anything more than Kemba (a #3 option at best).
