Hardy 911 call

but that analogy doesn't help your point...

That's fine. My point is this... There is no reason to lay your hands on a woman. None. Ever. I don't believe this happened as accused. I'm also not willing to call a potentially battered woman a liar until I know the facts. I've seen "domestic violence" cases (which can be something as simple as a broken window) where the woman is arrested because the man in the situation did the right thing.

I really, really wish all the white knights would give up on this broken logic.  It's fair to say that it is only acceptable in rare, extreme cases, but it's not hard to imagine a situation where I would find it very acceptable to lay hands on a woman.  Crazy chick coming at me with a knife screaming she's gonna kill me?  Yep, she's getting knocked the fug out and I'm not gonna feel one bit of remorse about it.

we all get the point.  don't beat women, you don't know what happened and you're not going to judge the situation until all facts come out, but... cliff hanger.

It's not broken logic. Every fight I've ever been in as been calculated. You're thinking or you lose.

What are you talking about?  I calculate that if someone is coming at you with a knife and you can't get away and you're unwilling to physically defend yourself, you're gonna get fuged up.

All white girls who spent every moment of their time downtown, buying clothes for downtown, tanning for downtown, doing their makeup for downtown, and working out to look good downtown are crazy.

Not true, gold digging white girls are craziest! The rest.....are just crazy. Plain and simple, Hardy was leveling up in gold diggers with his new contract and the current dig dug snapped, for she knew that league was unobtainable for her.

I'm sorry. I missed the point in the 911 tape where he said, "she's trying to stab me with a knife." I thought he said, "she hit me with with a shoe, I don't need medical attention."

I wasn't talking about the Hardy situation.  I was generally addressing all the white knights that continue to perpetuate this idiotic idea that there is no situation where it is acceptable to put hands on a woman.

Everyone needs to look at one huge clue:

They had been together since September. He just got the largest single payday EVER with his advance. Dig Dug all of a sudden goes bat poo crazy and files assault charges on him and he was the one that called 911.

Charges dropped and case closed. Hardy, upgrade to 1st class dig dug. They take a lot of poo to get a ring, then they clean you out

i thought his point was. she keeps coming at me hitting me with her shoe (which is probably high heels) and throwing punches and i'm taking myself out of this situation but this girl won't leave and my manager is trying to restrain her and i'm not touching her.

if he threw her around before this and threatened her life why the fug wouldn't she just leave?

she was coked out and crazy, you can hear her screaming at him and breaking glass. like i said before this is damning evidence for her. and on top of that if he has a video, she is fuged.

Hearing Hardy saying she might've been on coke make me wonder. Yesterday on the CP facebook page, someone was saying that Hardy may be doing coke since hes always rubbing/touching his nose. I thought it was insanely dumb but I guess not no more. The two of them may be doing coke. Just saying.

This is a valid concern. I'm sure there have been moments where panthers fans thought that hardy is either crazy or on something. But he was always the weird, quirky dude who brought defensive energy. I think the front office should look at hardy and see if he has any drug habits before they offer him a significant deal.

    • Have you seen the mock drafts lately?   Most of them have us taking a QB. Just because you aren't high on these QBs doesn't mean the Panthers or other teams aren't.   If you want me to be real I just think you a Tmac homer and all you care about is us drafting him. It's why you get so defensive when people mention other prospects.   Be open to other people's ideas. Nobody in this thread is saying anything bad about your boy Tmac.
    • Oh good lord Interest doesn't mean interest in making a bad trade to take the player, that's why I had such a long post, to accurately describe why those are two different things, but you don't like to listen to that stuff.  Being interested in a player doesn't live in a vacuum. It's very simple... there isn't a #1 draft pick type of grade on any of these QB's, if there was, we'd just take them.  You can't bluff a pick everyone knows you won't make, and trying to trade the pick is the CLEAR signal that you're not taking the QB. Just because the Raiders would have interest, doesn't mean they're going to bail us out of a situation we don't want to be in, they'd be smart about it and just sit put, let us take a non QB as we'd be telling the world we're not taking one just by trying to trade the pick, and then they'd take him at #2 (either with their own pick or by trading less to get that one). Oh, and your point of "if nobody is willing to make the trade, you obviously just take the best QB" is quite literally the dumbest thing I've ever read on here. If nobody is willing to trade up to take the QB, then it's OBVIOUS that the QB isn't worth taking with that pick, so OBVIOUSLY taking the best QB there is just OBVIOUSLY stupid and a bad pick. The moral of it is if there is a QB worth taking, we're taking them and not making the trade.  If there isn't a QB worth taking there, nobody is trading up to #1 to take one, we just showed the NFL how bad of an idea that is 2 years ago, it's really not hard to see. You keep making up this mythical situation where there is a QB who has shown to be worth trading up to #1 for and we'll be able to leverage that into a trade.  But we're the most QB needy team in the league, if we end up with the #1 pick, either we are taking a QB #1 or no QB is going #1 unless we get VERY lucky and two teams in the Top 5 fall in love with one prospect and we can play them off each other and fleece one of them. But again, I can't see that happening, as if there was a QB worthy of that, we're just taking him ourselves.
    • Sanders is with Tom Brady brand and that's his mentor. The Raiders owner was with Sanders taking pics at a Vegas game together.   It doesn't take much to connect the dots that Vegas will be interested in Sanders as their franchise QB. Oh yeah and guess who hasa small ownership stake in the Raiders Tom Brady.   I guess this is just another made up Madden idea by me huh?
