That video is a little hokey to me.

How did she have the original camera view of the driveway...then it cut to above the fence on the other side of the car to watch the dog go behind the car...then cut back to the exact camera angle as the beginning of the video.

Seems like this us multiple cameras making the video.

Seems somewhat fishy to me. Although the dog did appear to attack the boy and the day did come to his rescue.

They have multiple cameras- the relevant video is spliced together by the local tv station.

 

And watch the cat. He comes back to be with the little boy after running the dog off.

Was not thinking about security/surveillance cameras. I was thinking someone was videoing it.
