Power Rankings of all 32 offenses, post draft - guess who's dead last

As long as Shula is the O-coordinator our offense will be in the bottom 4th of the league...where you stack em from there is like deciding whose poop smells worse. Stinks either way.

Shula is a good coordinator. His play calling and adjustments were good. Cam loves him, everyone else respects him. It's not his fault all his WRs sucked last year and he was working with a 4th string o-line.

Chudzinski's yardage & point totals are for fantasy football. Shula's efficient, ball control offense wins games.

Our receiving core is not the bad. People will be shocked once again this year

I agree, I'm not sure why our WR are getting bashed so hard.  Avant has been incredibly consistent, and has put up numbers similar to Lafell without having the benefit of always being the #2 WR.  Cotchery has had several huge years, and is a great threat.  I know there are plenty of Steve lovers here, but I much rather have a rookie KB13 then I would Steve.  Not to mention if Ed Dickson can find his hands again, we have the two TE threat that Cam thrived with.  A 2 TE set with KB/Olsen/Dickson/Cotchery out there gives you 4 receivers that are 6'1+, can block fairly well, and can all run powerfully.

One of the reasons our offense was so bad statistically is we went on tons of time consuming drives. Our time of possession was insane at points during the season. There is value in that.

Our offense was not bad last year.

Go look up our time of possession, 3rd down conversions, 4th down conversions, red zone numbers, turnover margins, etc.

Yardage and point totals are for fantasy football and casual fans... Ask Detroit and Denver.

Our offense helps our defense drastically. We wouldn't have been nearly as good defensively if Chud was here last year. He would've worn our defense out. Almost every possession was either a quick TD, 3 & out, or turnover.

People want a top 3 defense AND a 30+ ppg offense. Lol

bleacher report is poo.

that said, shula run offenses are what they are....on the bottom and totally dependent on an absolutely suffocating defense if the team has any hope of winning games.

hopefully ramsey will help open things up some and WRs who don't drop the ball with regularity will help us make more of the limited opportunities a shula run offense creates.

oh yeah, and that benjamin kid should help us score more.

but calling us one of the bottom offenses in the league....not that far off. it's completely understandable that people would look at how few points and yardage we put up last year and then look at a totally rebuilt receiving corps and no legit starting OTs and think, "wow, those guys are going to suck".

and those people saying that as long as cam is here this offense will be good need to look again at what we did last year. it was pretty poor. anemic passing game and no run game to speak of outside cam. the most excitement we got from our best WR was his fights with DBs. tbis just isn't a high producing offense.

Don't sleep on the Jags, I seriously think they could break out this year if Bortles is decent. Gerhart is a alright running back, they have 2-3 legit WR, and their division isn't that strong.

After last season I've decided to support the Jags. They get kicked around so much.

Worked well for the Ravens. Defense wins Championships!

really?? The Panthers have been all defense from their inception, from the owner to the coach. Where are the championships or back to back winning seasons. Balance is the key, not a please don't put the defense in a bad spot, just run the clock down, don't put those points on the board to quick, slow grind offense. If that formula worked the Panthers trophy case would be full.

The entire media is running with the "Carolina has no offense" schtick this year.

What else do they have?

Ron Rivera is the reigning coach of the year.

Kuechly is the reigning defensive player of the year.

#2 defense, which along with SEA & SF are the elite of the elite & way above anyone else.

Their favorite whipping boy Cam Newton is a 2x Pro Bowler who completed a career high 62% of his passes & had 30 TD to 14 turnovers while leading numerous game-winning drives & winning a division title at 12-4.

Bashing our offense is all they have left.

Hate to break it to them, but we're a cut LT signing away from being VASTLY improved from last season.

finally someone puts my thoughts into something concise... all ive heard from every source is doom and gloom. i dont see what the fuss is about. the only position we might truly lack is at OT. and i dont believe the FO to be stupid. they must see more than we fans can see. Gettleman has shown a knack for finding great talent at need positions. so if he and his FO believe that the answer is already on the roster concerning OT (as their actions seem to show), then i have faith in their decision. even if OT is just simply not there and the answer isnt on the roster, we have studs at the guard and center positions and studs at TE to give the OT help. then next year, or perhaps even after training camp, we can find some starters at OT.

there is so much hope for this team, i simply just dont understand all the doom and gloom. its as if the whole fanbase, including most of the Huddle, thinks the Panthers are gonna lose 11 games next season just because the media says so. i think its perfectly reasonable for the Panthers to have 10 or 11 wins next season. and with how competitive the NFCS will be this season, 11 wins may be enough for another division crown.

im done with the doom and gloom. i wont read any more threads or articles talking about how terrible the Panthers are gonna be. even if they do suck this season, ive got better things to worry about in my life than how good or bad my favorite football team is. #iBelieve #KeepPounding #FugginGoPanthers

We actually could have one of the worst offenses in the NFL. I hate to think about sitting through that live but it could happen.

I guess the better question to ask is what about this offense makes you think it will be in the top half. I don't think we are last

I mean tee that poo up. If we end up with a top say 12 offense along with our current defense we are a super bowl contender easily.
