One bad thing about JR is he sure as hell don't know how to make the home stadium feel like home. Or maybe he does and just doesn't care because he has set it up to where he makes money either way.

Dudes gotta make money man, it's hard when your state is predicated on having a poo ton of transplants and bandwagoners.

What would you do to change things if you were JR?

There's not many things he or anyone in his position could do.  Everybody moves from out of state to here for jobs, just the way it is.  I work in an office with over 20 people.  Only 7 are from NC or SC.  Hell, half the college kids that go to the bigger universities here in NC are from out of state.  Like I said, not much you can do.

I'd discriminate like a mo fo. Any sumbitch trying to get into BofA stadium with an opposing jersey would be turned away and have their ass beaten on site. No questions asked. Any fan rooting against the home team would be hit in the face with a Sir Purr shaped piece of pottery. The stadium would only be half full and our "sell out streak" would end but for once there'd only be Panther fans inside.

As a business man, you know that's not good for business.  You can do that if you buy a bar though............

Issue is PSL holders. The two seats to my left on the aisle are given away almost every game often to opposing fans. The one time the owner showed up I told him I would buy his seats for any price he wanted. Never heard back.

Seat to my right is 1/3 empty (which is OK I pretend like it is mine and spread out) 1/3 scalped to an opposing player or 1/3 given away to who knows. Offered to buy this too. Who the fug buys a single PSL.

Both of these owners are out of town. The one guy lives in VA and bought 13 PSLs or something in the inaugural sale and now never comes because who wants to drive 2 hours to see 8-8 most every year. But they hold onto them for years like last year I guess.

I think there are lots of out of staters who bought early on and now dont care as much. Add that to the brokers and corporate PSLs and I don't see it changing much.

Agree 100%. BofA atmosphere was doomed from the start and there are no signs of it improving. The bogus sell out streak is nice to flash up but scenes like the 2010 Ravens game are here to stay.

Dad bought ours in 1995. He originally purchased 4 together. Two of his "friends" started buying two of our four seats from us every year. Eventually they purchased the actual PSL from him so we slimmed down to Two PSL's now. One guy bailed and sold his PSL a while ago. The other one (right next to us) never shows up and if he does he arrives 30 minutes after kick off. Sometimes he sells it and YES it's always to an opposing team fan. Drives my dad and I up the wall. I've asked over and over again that he simple call me and I will buy the damn ticket for whatever he wants for ANY game. He never even gives us a chance. My dad and I are die hard fans and both grew up in Charlotte. Every game he gets more and more pissed that he sold the PSL to his "friend".

On the flip side I do have a good client that owns 4 sets of PSL's around the stadium. He absolutely will NOT sell them to someone that he suspects is rooting for another team! haha

That's okay, we'll still get to annoy them with our blue towels almost as much as they annoy us with their yellow rags.

I absolutely agree that we should give away growl towels for that game.  I have a blue one and white one already but it would be great to wave those whenever we score.  It would be good to give them some of their own medicine.

    • Personally I think he's a nightmare to cover I think linebackers generally aren't fast enough to keep up with him in coverage and cornerbacks don't have the strength to tackle him one-on-one in physically bring them down which would normally lead to a broken tackle or a nasty stiff arm or just bully ball play sure you could find a receiver with comparable speed like Cooper but he's faster than Cooper sure you can find a wide receiver that is the same size but he's probably More powerful than them and a better blocker.  The size speed athleticism package that he is in is completely unique it's easier to say I'd rather have just a big blocker because we've never seen this type of profile before I'm a risk taker I think you would be God blessed if this was there at 19 I think if you can get a guy that's a tight end who immediately becomes the fastest guy on your offense and at the same time that third wide receiver that can stretch and burn defenses over the top that's the perfect what the Panthers need type weapon.
    • I think you're under selling Sadiq. They are two different players in terms of how they win. Loveland is 2 inches taller maybe 5-6 pounds heavier. Comparing his speed to sadiq.. well your comparing a 4.7 guy to a 4.3 guy I'm seeing a guy that can take a bubble screen from the tight end position and turn it into a house call. I'm not saying the guy is a certified home run pick but I don't think there's really a president's for a comparison for this kind of athlete. It's easy to say this doesn't look like Warren or Loveland because we haven't seen guys that fit this profile The closest you might be able to get is Vernon Davis.  He's not as sure far as those guys were but at 19 I think almost everybody is going to have some warts and he's a lottery ticket of could be top 10 in the draft player or could fail I am more of a risk taker I think he fits the athletic profile that could be a homerun, like I said he's almost 40 lb bigger than Cooper and like 4-5 in taller than Cooper so and he's faster. So whatever you think Cooper gives you I think he does that and more. If you want to go with one of the office alignment I can understand that as well but for value as a receiving threat I don't think there's a bigger value at number 19.
    • I’ve haven’t seen anything that says we have interest in Njoku?
