Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs

Recommended Posts

Spurs haven't been that great on the road lately(mainly cuz they rely on their bench so much), but if they don't split in Miami, I don't see them winning the series.

Heat have been absolutely unstoppable at home lately.

I can understand why people "hate" Lebron. I'm just not one of those guys because he actually seems like a good guy to me. To each his own, however.

people hate on him and hope for him to fail because they are scared of the possibility of him surpassing MJ one day. That's why.

Same here. The hate seems pretty childish and exaggerated IMO.

Some of it definitely has to do with MJ tho.

you are just a pure fugin hater bro. Go somewhere. you can't appreciate greatness, you instead hate on it and Jack off to memories of MJ. Are you watching the games just hoping to see lebron lose? If so why don't you go watch some throwback mj since you aren't watching to enjoy the game, instead of being an unappreciative prick

Okay, "bro" you're further proving my point. Why don't you go make something of yourself instead of 'appreciating greatness.' I'm not even a Jordan fan but I can realize that he is better than LeBron. You have some kind of fantasy about him that I just can't quite understand. Either you're gay or it's just one of those gay fantasies that most boys your age have. I know those hormones are raging at 12 years old.

When he had that little 'The Decision' thing for bailing on Cleveland I lost some respect for him. If you want to donate some money to charity do it without the camera on you and don't disrespect a city in the process.

Then he made fun of Dirk for being sick in the finals a few years ago, I lost a little more respect.

Then he comes out and says he's not getting calls... really lol.

He just comes off cocky to me.

Cocky? The majority of all time great players are, particularly in basketball.

So sure huh? Or is it that people don't "hate" on him at all, and anyone who does, does so because he's an arrogant douchebag who whines about every single call that doesn't go his way? Child please go to bed, it's past your bedtime.

LeBron has made mistakes in the past but he appears to have learned from them. I used to hate him but the more and more I watch him on and off the court and I have grown to like him. He has his "moments" still but I think he has matured a lot in these past couple years.

I live in LA so I see them daily.  Most of them are huge Kobe fans obviously.  It's just a tired narrative at this point.

Guy has kept himself clean off the court and seems to be a  good father to his children.  People always need a villian though.

I'm just happy that we are able to watch him, KD, etc..

Really?

Like who?

Jordan wasn't known for being cocky (until he got inducted into the HOF), Kobe doesn't exactly scream cockiness, KD is one of the humblest people in the NBA.

There is a reason most NBA greats don't respect LBJ, it's because he doesn't respect them.

fug all you LeBron haters real talk hope you guys calm down with the hate after this amazing display of greatness

how's LeBron nuts taste?  sorry but there is no greatness on display. He stagnated the Heat offense and jacked up bad shots with no offensive movement. Those jumpers were nothing but luck buddy, even LeBron riders like yourself have to know he isn't a consistent jumpshooter. won't happen again in the series. Heat got away with isolation basketball this time, but if the Spurs hit there FTs the Heat still don't win, even with all that "greatness".

he even choked on one of the last free throws himself. There wasn't any greatness on display, it was paint player getting hot from the outside. That's his one for the series.

    • Maybe a bit of a homer take but I can't give us a grade lower than A.   Freeling was arguably the best LT prospect in the draft.  His athletic ability is off the chart and at 6'7" that can move.  It was a no brainer pick.   Hunter's key word is Violence. Putting him next to Brown should scare an offensive coordinator. These two give Scourton and Phillips plenty of chances to get one on one opportunities. Brazzell, another tall receiver with sprinter speed.  Our WR room is filled with tall talented WR.  Brazzell is going to give us a WR that can take to roof off the defense.  Basically Jimmy Horn with size. W. Lee III has a nickname of the Blanket. (heard this on the Beleav podcast with J. Stewart)  What a great name.  A great value in the 5th round. Hecht A strong, fast and extremely smart center. Many had him listed as the best center in the draft.  He's most likely a starter sooner than later. Wheatley A good safety in round 5.  Someone who could see playing time.   Kuwatch  I love this pick.  At minimum he will be a key piece on special teams and with some good coaching he'll see some packages where he'll play.  His down piece is he doesn't stay up in the running game.  Good coaching will fix this.  He reminds me a bit of A.J. Klein.   All these picks were great value.  I believe everyone of them were graded higher than the pick we took them.   Dan Morgan is IMO doing a great job turning this team into a good team with great depth.
    • Moton is a class act.
    • Sure, that is possible. That’s what, an extra 55 yards a game on average and 7 more TDs? What if he’s just 15th?  I imagine they would extend him in that situation due to the belief that he’ll keep trending up. maybe a 3 year contract to prove he can be top 10? Sounds like a Tepper plan.
