The only player who seemed to be excited about the name change, when it all went down.

 

 

As cool as that is, I agree... he isn't worth it coming off the bench, which is where he belongs.

I'm a Carolina fan but I love Henderson.

He's been through it all, he was a rookie during our first playoff appearance and was able to help us get back; unfortunately he didn't progress this year and he looks like he's pretty much who he is going to be in the NBA.

His contract is just too big to be a sixth man so if we want to add a good player in free agency and in a trade, he probably needs to go.

Whatever happens though, I wish Hendo the best.

Definitely a bench guy, and a good guy to come off the bench. but with a starting salary, he just isn't worth it.

Wouldn't be upset to see him go , too bad he can't restructure and come off the bench

I said he should've been allowed to walk last year instead of giving him a new contract.

 

I also said the Bobcats should've tried to go after Al Jefferson before he went to Utah. Better late than never, I guess, even though he has more wear on the tires now.

 

Anyway, I was right in both cases, although Bobcats fans didn't want to hear any of it either time.

 

In short, him not being on the team next season...better late than never, I guess.

Yes, as a bench player though.  He may make too much, so a nice trade would be best but other teams see what we see.   Ideally, without a trade, he would backup a SG and what DOES give him some extra value is I believe Hendo can backup MKG or, even start over MKG.  Hendo has decent defense, not MKG defense, but way better offense than MKG.  It's possible Hendo would be better at that position, but who knows.   So yeah a 6th man that can backup your SG or SF, and I think there is value there.
