Chicago Bears sign teh Jimmeh

i think there are a lot more posters than you think who realize he was never given a fair shake.

we as an organization completely destroyed his self esteem as a qb. we didn't protect him, our fans gave him hell, coach fox wanted nothing to do with the team and was just going through the motions.

it was an awful situation that not many players in the ENTIRE world could turn around. Ill crack a few jokes here or there but i ultimately feel very ashamed and sorry for the way Clausen was handled.

You had me until "ashamed". I may feel bad for the guy. But Cam loved having him around. After all, it WAS teh jimmeh that supplied all the fixins' in the QB meetings. It is the reason Cam gained so much weight during the season.

Listen, teh jimmeh brought it on himself. All holier than thou cuz he was a QB for the Irish. The dude is a dweeb.

Now that he is gone. Maybe I will not hate him. But if he has a hand in any way with the Lions losing a game to the Bears. He is right back on the list of mortal enemies.

I knew there was a reason I like Cuervo Gold. But then again. Knowing teh jimmeh has defiled it, I may never drink it again.

I never hated Clausen.

If I'm gonna hate someone, I need a way better reason than their being bad at football.

There are lots of guys I don't care to see playing for or starting on the Panthers, but it has zero to do with emotion.

    • Of the two, Decker would be my choice, but not at the pricetag he would command.  TBH, I'm in the Salyer camp as a competent fringe starter that is better than Yosh was, but unsure if he can hold up for 17+ regular season games. My guess is he would be a gamble like others are making on Chenal, Turk, etc. in rolling the dice on a promising young guy stuck buried on a talented depth chart.
    • Yeah, leaving Miami Ohio out would be dumb. Almost as dumb as now calling the play in games the "1st round". In a field of 64 you can't tell me there's not room for a 31-1 team. Hell, I volunteer my Heels to stay at home and give them our spot. LOL
    • Let's hope so! Even if he pleads down and avoids jail, that's admitting guilt. I can't see the NFL letting that slide. Never is a long time though, especially for a 22 year old 1st rounder. There's a good chance he'll be back eventually.
