Birdman with Michael Keaton

My filmmaker cousin used a good phrase about birdman and whiplash that i knew exactly what he meant. Each film was too actorly.

Some films either through subject matter or who the actor portrays is low lying fruit. Films about someone with an illness, which produced both best acting wins, are too me, low fruit.

Give me subtleties and nuances. Which is why i like Wes Anderson films.

Honestly 10 best pic noms is too many. Go back to 5.

So did I, I almost turned it off a couple times, but I figured I already watched so far I might as well finish. Its understandable for me, I hate broadways , musicals, and ego's actors have.

I loved the remake of The Producers and the original for that matter.

Couldn't even finish the movie. My wife and I tried. Very very hard to watch it but we couldn't get through. It was, well in short; stupid.

Definitely a movie about the struggles (yeah right) of Hollywood.

Not much in it to relate too unless your an inspiring actor/actress. Just a waste of time for everyone else IMO.
