I don't know why anyone would have a problem with advertisements on jerseys. Who cares? If it's an opportunity for more money to be made with the only detriment being the aesthetic appeal of a jersey than what the fug ever.

I know the initial reaction against this was the fear that the advertising would be across the front and huge like the WNBA does. But I think its only gonna be a 2 inch patch.

I think these uniforms are a home run.

Design is evolutionary, not revolutionary, linking the present with the past. As others have pointed out, this approach allows for pinstripe throwbacks down the road.

This will ultimately be a win/win for traditionalists and those in favor of an updated look.
