Per J.Jones...says he wants be a Panther long term..says he hates that he was a distraction to the team...says the defense is bowing up to be even better then last year.Legal issues not mentioned at all

1.stop doing bone head crap and stay on the right path.

2.get rid of D.R as agent and get some realistic fiqures that the team can actually afford.....and keep bringing it on the field.

"I hate that I have distracted my team, but other than that I can't really answer any questions," Hardy said Sunday at Wofford, site of the Panthers' training camp.

Before Hardy addressed the media Sunday, a Panthers spokesman said Hardy would not discuss anything related to the case.

Six times when asked questions related to his guilty verdict, Hardy said he "can't answer that question."

"I love this place. This is a great atmosphere," Hardy said. "I love the ownership, love my teammates. I've had a great five years here.

There was then some attempt to market himself, which is as ridiculous as minimizing an arrest for hitting a woman and throwing her onto a bed full of guns to the catch-all category of “distractions.” Of course, Hardy also followed up his court appearance with a clumsy attempt at rapping in a Charlotte nightclub before camp, so that shouldn’t be a surprise.

If there’s any remorse, there was no apparent sign of it. Frankly, the Panthers won’t have to worry about anything other than his ability to play, since they’re leaving any potential suspension to the league, and the league’s unlikely to act until he goes to a jury trial which will drag out beyond this season.

gantt's take, for those wondering why he said what he did.  note I don't agree with his take, just sharing.  http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/07/27/greg-hardy-hates-that-hes-been-a-distraction/

Gantt is saying on twitter that "Greg further embarrassed himself" today. It didn't sound that way to me from what was posted here...

Also, how do you embed the tweets?

Gantt hates the Panthers and tries to belittle the team as much as possible, no surprise he would misinterpret something like this.

    • Good game so far.  Solid trench battles, two young well built defenses, and my 2 fave coaches.  Stafford is really damn good.  SEA OL is overperforming.
    • Okay then. To me that means Russell Wilson was Coryell. Because I see the proposition completely in the Russell Wilson punt/pass put it up for grabs mold. Count on the receiver to catch it or knock it down.    And the reason I thought that was the intent with Legette is the abysmal downfield game from 2023. As in, there was barely any.   I look at it as if… the result of a deep attempt isn’t as important as the opponent understanding they have to defend it. So I was all for some 50/50s. Coryell, Walsh whoever.  I do favor the Coryell approach personally but also very much value versatility, it doesn’t have to be strict. Just make the defense defend the whole field, however you do it. It has to include downfield throws.
    • Sold, or in the process of being sold. Could be either way. Consider this for a second... Last season, our defensive coordinator steered what many have called the worst defense in NFL history.  Canales would absolutely have been justified in firing him, and no one would have blamed him if he had.  But what did he do? He gave Evero another chance to come back and prove he could be better. Does that tell us something about Canales? I think it does. Now apply that to Bryce 😕
