Is Mike Tolbert really a franchise FB?

I am just looking at some old games ( 2013). Looking at him, his is still making and struggling with the same issues. I know I shouldn't, but I always compare every FB to Mike Alstott and Peyton Hillis, they hardly get hit behind the line. This is not because their O-lines are that great, but because they feel when pressure is near. Mike is still getting hit behind the line when sometimes he can avoid. It is still frustrating to see him as a runner. He is an extremely inconsistent and streaky. His mechanics are poor with him running off his back foot and unbalanced causing hime to fall on his fat ass. I guess is this why they drafted the 6'5'' Tra T. I tend to wonder if the front office is sold on him as the future , because Im not. This has to be his make or break year. Love Mike as a person, the best thing that could happen to the Charlotte area, but not my choice for the future. I really like John Connor , I see the Jets going somewhere with him. Tolbert is the best goal line runner in the NFL. I think your concern should be with 34. Tolbert is solid.

Tolbert is a damn RB. Just bc he's fat doesn't mean he's a FB, but our coaches think so.

Sign Greg Jones and move Tolbert to RB. Dwill can sit his ass on the bench.
