"When we play Atlanta, it oftentimes comes down to the final drive. It did in last year's games, and I'm sure it will on Sunday," Saints coach Sean Payton said.

opening line had Falcons by 1, now it has Saints by 3

last year's two wins by New Orleans over Atlanta were decided by a grand total of 10 points. Seven of the past 11 games in the rivalrty have been decided by four points or less

Watching a little bit of this game trying not to puke.  Either the Saints' offense looks godly or the Falcons' defense looks like pure trash.  Probably a little bit of both to be honest.

 

Drive undone by a penalty and an uncharacteristic Drew Brees miss.  Brees has all day and receivers running all over the place wide open.

Don't get me wrong, I hate Atlanta and they were pretty lucky 2 years ago, but man this team has fallen off a cliff a la the Panthers in 2008.

For those that saw the Falcons/Saints game today...which I'm sure many here did..... it was a great game...and a great fight.

Wow.

Those two teams are an a whole different level . That game looked like a freakin 12 round Heavy Weight Fight between Ali and Frazier. They were primed-up like it was a playoff game

The Saints, Falcon game was an example of how this game is designed to be played, sad only a few of the current teams can get close.
