Cut or Keep Greg Hardy

It was stated that Greg sent her home from the Pro Bowl when she thought she was also going to the Super Bowl with him. I think that is when Greg broke it off with her. Then he signed his franchise tag.

If you read the whole case, she was hanging around Greg to cause trouble ("He aint seen crazy yet") and to get him to pay her bills. She is trying to get her share of the 13 million.

You mean a woman who dated Nelly before would only be hanging around a high profile athlete just to get something she wants? I always believed in the good of humanity.

Domestic violence is treated differently in some ways from other assaults because they often involve psychological abuse that can fundamentally alter the judgement and capabilities of the victims to defend themselves, ask for help, or leave the relationship.

The average american male is 5 8. The average american female is 5 3. The average american male is 190. The average american female is 140. There are obviously exceptions, but to act like it's even across the board is silly. Men are more dangerous, and to act like what transpired between Ray Rice and his fiancee constitutes a "fair fight" because she threw a slap on the way to the elevator is silly.

lol not at all what I'm saying.

Never said it constituted a fair fight, never said the average man and woman are the same size.

Right, and do you think they made those laws in a couple states because a bunch of 15 year old girls were throwing haymakers?

What?

I'm not sure how this logic applies to your introductory point about knocking out a ten year old. Usually the difference between 10 and 15-17 year olds is puberty. At that age they're not quite yet considered adults but they are capable of significant harm. I don't really see 10 year olds committing violent crimes on par with 15-17 year olds in the news.

My intorductory point was that there are differences between people, specifically men and women. But also people in a broader context. If the big difference you would like to point out is puberty, that's super because that results in the biggest physical differences between men and women. Which is what I am arguing in the first place.

Rice Case and Hardy Case are two different things, before i say this let me state that what Rice did was wrong and he will have to live with that through out his life, being semi famous only complicates the situation............but Rice got screwed, thoroughly.

He's handed his punishment which i'm pretty sure Goodell and The Ravens Organization knew what occurred in that elevator, at that point i can only assume the guy and his wife wanted to leave that situation behind and fix there relationship..........then the video surface and now he's unemployed and temporarily or maybe permanently banned from football, for something he already was punish for now his wife and family have to deal with this bad situation from a different angle........it's like reliving a nightmare, i feel sorry for his wife

Also it's strange that Goodell move the suspension to 6 games 1st offense to permanent ban 2nd offense right after this incident if i'm correct.......

if Hardy didn't do it he will be fine, if he did then take your lumps and move on

So you're willing to acknowledge the differences between man and woman but not women and child? Your average ten year old is not 140 lbs unless you live in Minnesota. And the differences go beyond physical. Mental, in both the development comparison as well as the human experience comparison offer a substantial advantage towards women over a pre-pubescent child. It's easier to manipulate a child than it is to manipulate a woman.

I think Greg's attitude on the stand cost him the 1st trial.

If i'm his lawyer i'm telling him not to be such a dumb ass on the stand and show humility for the situation you put yourself in.

I think the judge caused him the first case. I'm sure she tried to be fair and objective in her mind, but she may have been predispositioned to sympathize with the accuser.

Maybe not. But that is the very reason he has a right to trial by jury, to protect the defendant. And I think everyone should wait for due process to take its course before punishing Hardy

I get what you are saying. If it's true that Rice's wife spit in his face, then she didn't necessarily show angelic agency herself. But Ray decided to handle the situation in the dumbest, most sadistic way possible. He could have killed her, and he is going to lose his livelihood for it. But if what you take from this is that women have the right to spit on and claw at men because they're smaller, then you must think a little too highly of your own moral ground.

No way am I saying he should have done what he did, nor do I think it's OK to retaliate because someone pissed you off or hit you first.

I'm simply saying that I don't think the sex of the person hit makes it any worst and that there have been multiple incidents with players on on our team punching guys and it's been praised or treated like it's not that big of a deal.

Reality is people should be mentally prepared for the NFL to come out with a no tolerance policy....

Also, should be prepared for then to do a 180 on them claiming things wouldn't be retroactive.

Meaning, I wouldn't be shocked if Hardy gets some attention soon and we lose him until his court date.

Could happen
