Anybody catch the postgame on FOX?

They brought up the Panthers, and Howie Long said our defense was legit. Then they went to Strahan and the guy totally changed the subject and started talking about how the Saints loss to the Browns.

SMH still no respect. It won't change till we win the Super Bowl.

Fug the media!

We have ZERO wide receivers, no Greg Hardy, no DeAngelo Williams. I could go on and on and on but the result will always be the same!

SUCK IT!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, oh and a qb with two significant injuries going against the dominant suh and fairley, the same qb that won't put up numbers anywhere close to the likes of Stafford.

Do you watch the post game on Fox ever?  They go over a highlights of a few games and each person on the set usually discusses a different game so they can cover each market.  I know it is the "it" thing to hate on the media, but Fox didn't do anything out of the ordinary.

It's funny u post this because they were speaking about the win on CBS and no one had an answer when asked about the prediction that the Panthers not doing well because of the replacements on the Offense. They didn't have an answer, but quickly turned to the defense and  gave them all the credit.

Today's sports media always seem to have a bad case of foot-in-mouth disease but refuse to admit it.

The media is sad. You could literally blindly select 5 Huddlers to replace any panel, and we would know more than they do outta shear fandom. We don't even have access to the film, and the Elias Sports Bureau's stat checking.

They are there because of notoriety, not because of their knowledge. They better get with it though, cause this Panther team has taken note, and there's gonna be "blood and gets er'ywhere"

I stopped caring what the mainstream media says about anything once I hit puberty.

They are basically parroting idiots.

They are obviously doing a good job of it since so many Panther's fans hate Cam.  While so many Browns fans are rooting for Manziel to start for the Browns despite his inability to do anything but run with the ball. SMH

Yeah, their parroting is quite effective because football fans mirrors a society that have gotten too lazy in the think for themselves department.

    • More praise of Renfrow from Tim Weaver (formerly of USA Today's Panthers Wire, now SI.com), and also what I told some of you, my Huddle friends, from the start: keep it all in perspective, and don't conveniently---and perhaps unfairly, discount and label Renfrow as a JAG when it was a very debilitating illness affecting his play.    "It's understandable to be skeptical about Renfrow's abilities at this late point in his career. After all, he missed all of last season due to a bout of ulcerative colitis that also took a serious toll on his production in 2022 and 2023."   When Renfrow is healthy, he's an above average guy. Being 29 may hurt or help his chances depending upon perspective, but 29 for receivers generally means that there's still (sometimes plenty) gas in the tank. Renfrow also obviously has plenty of motivation and has come with his game face.   "Then agan, seeing is believing and by all accounts Renfrow has been very impressive since joining the Panthers a few months ago... Where Renfrow will fit in Carolina's new-look receiver corps remains to be seen, but at this rate it's going to be hard to exclude him from the initial 53-man roster." https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/hunter-renfrow-sick-route-panthers-training-camp Read the room, ladies and gentlemen. And don't get it twisted; Renfrow isn't the most talented receiver on the team, but we have seen his ceiling, when healthy, in a Raiders offense that wasn't necessary replete with talent. Consider what he can do, especially in the slot, in a Panthers offense primed with young talent (no pun intended). From sick to "sick routes," eh?
    • That is literally what I am talking about. Those were 53 man cuts. Not at the beginning of camp.  I would say the odds of Barno being back are extremely thin.
