Roman Harper..... Shots Fired!

he will get plenty chances to hit him from behind after the play is over.

Yep..  then 89 will look for one of the smallest members of our defense,  to try and hit/punch as payback for Harper laying him out.      Good thing Cap'n isn't here anymore, eh?

Exactly DeCoud and Harper looked good and made plays the first two weeks then the Steelers whooped the ish out of our defense.

Our LBs were our worst unit against the Steelers...

That is why I am not going to be all chicken little about it. Fluke. Isn't going to happen often. Plus, Flacco ain't about that small ball

not chicken little about the LB's it is the secondary that is exposed as the weakest link. they are not good. This goes back to the 49er playoff game once they neutralized the front 7 it was over.

Exactly.. When TD struggles you know our defense had a rough night. Tomlin and co. created an excellent gameplan against our defense but we just looked off.

Weakest link against the Steelers was wasn't our Ss.

For me, the 49ers game exposed the fact our crappy OL was masked most of the year by Cam. Everyone was worried about our WRs.....OL was my concern. Specifically, people acted like the T spot was the only question when our Gs were just as big of a question. you quit moving the ball.....any D will be stressed. Changes the game.

the secondary is our weakest link. The OL play vs 49ers was bad but has nothing to do with the point made.

Have we lost a game bc of them? WR and DBS are better than last year....yet that is all everyone talked about heading into the year.

OL play is our weakest link. Much more so than the secondary. That doesn't mean the DBs are impressive.....but our OL is garbage and impacts more

    • Exactly He's played two seasons and started 28 games. He's well beyond the point of being able to point to 2 or 3 games and being able to say, "THAT is the QB he is and will be in the future" Of course he can get there, but anyone trying to use just those couple of games to rank his place amongst the games QB's today and their full career's worth of playing at that level, is just asinine. Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Hurts, Herbert, Daniels, Stafford, Goff, Geno, Purdy, Baker, Love, Dak, Tua, Kyler, Lawrence That's 17 QB's right there that have played better over their careers than Bryce has played at his best.  And I'm not saying they're all studs or guys I'd want to be our QB moving forward, Tua for example I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole, but his body of work is a million times better than Bryce's has been. It's also not including any of the other QB's drafted in 2023/2024 other than Daniels. So again, say you believe in Bryce, say you think he's going to prove he can and should be our QB of the future, that's all fair and totally fine. But nobody can say he's been an above average QB in his career thus far, it's just an asinine notion.
    • I'd think we could get one of those from Dallas for... whatever.
