Luke has been terrible. You'd think he robbed the NFL of the DPOY.

Guy cannot get off his blocks the last two games.

offensive game plans all week every week are for teams to eliminate Luke. Block him with their biggest and best players. Try to make him a non factor. And yet he still always leads the team in tackles. But yet he's terrible. Yeah, okay.

Luke is my favorite player. He's the only reason why I still pray for my Panthers with 89 gone.

Never said he's a terrible player. Said he's been playing like ass the last two games.

Urlacher? Ray?

Did you hear what the commentator just said?

"Luke has 10 tackles, but majority of those are downfield."

Tadaaaaaaa

    • Where are all the, uh, "USC" fans at? I know its South Carolina, but I've seen their fans in here on the regular. What do y'all have to say? That's really why I started the thread: for the perspective of someone who is really familiar with the kid.
    • I may be reading too much into this, but the comments from Canales about Horn don't really indicate good news. He compares him to Deven Thompkins, whom he said he loves, and Thompkins had a really good camp last year and was creating separation and making plays just about every day. But Thompkins was cut. And when we did bring him back, it wasn't for any real meaningful snaps. And then we cut him again. That's not a guy I would want to be compared to. Granted, we did draft Horn, and Horn isn't Thompkins, but Canales praised Horn as a guy that made other guys better, not as a guy that was playing well. And I think there is a clear difference.  Just trying to see through the coach speak.
    • Yeah, I expected some hate, notwithstanding X essentially admitting his imperfections in so many words. At this point, unless X is a stud, there may be people that talk sh¡t about him regardless of how he improves on the field. I hope that's not the case. In many minds, expectations for X (and, perhaps, a timetable for success however that looks like) were probably unrealistic in the first place.
