Why are there so many threads on Cam and the offense when our Defense is playing so bad?

I don't get it. Our defense is playing as bad as it has played in about two years for two straight games yet people can't stop talking about benching Cam. News flash but we won't be winning many games even if we could keep Cam up right if the defense keeps being teared apart like a tissue.

because we have scored our offense has only scored 3 TDs in 2 games! thus our drives are being shutdown like an unpaid light bill!

 

Our offense has shown signs and glimpses of being able to score like that TD that benjamin should of had today. But the way our defense is playing, gives me no hope that this team can be competitive with the panthers schedule coming up. This team's main issue right now is defense not offense.

B/c there's not much you can do about the defense. You know the NFL screwed us with Hardy, a big part. T.D hurt too. The offense you definitely can, we're moving the ball and yet somehow get to the opponents field of position and get into pussy mode. If we scored on those first 2 drives against Pitts, you're looking at a different game

Yep, this "fan base" smh...

This team is built to stop people. We have no OL and Shula as an OC. Obviously aren't going to be winning any shootouts.

You have an OC who's mentality is to pound the ball and win the TOP battle. Oh yah and that OC is stubborn as hell and won't adjust to his talent. Mix that with having no run game whatsoever and we're basically screwed on O and it doesn't take a genius to realize that.

Our D has this bend but don't break mentality that relies heavily on turnovers and sacks. Well, we are missing two of our top playmakers on D and Kuechly had been MIA. We aren't forcing sacks or getting turnovers so our secondary is getting exposed big time.

Things aren't going to change overnight, this team has serious problems and Cam is not one of them. Cam proved again today that with a little time in the pocket he can make any and every throw.

Offense scores the point, defense sustains the team... we are not doing well at either but the offense is saying a lot. I love KB but really we've seen this far too long as that role was SS here.

      Overall it was a fun pleasant surprise of a game. That final drive by the Panthers was atrocious though. It would have been nice to at least go down landing a few blows not just punching air. We shrunk in the moment. I don't want to say it took away from the rest of the game but it was certainly unfortunate.

      you guys are 100% butt buddies, and you know it. you know who im talking about without even having to list names. its the same 5 users that spend their free time on here dumping on the panthers every move and especially anything regarding Bryce. you pie each others posts, quote each other, all day. this forum is slowly dying and posters like you guys are contributing to it. this is a fan forum. if you hate the team and product so much, why waste any time on here? I'm not sure what "L" you are referring to, there is no winners or losers here. we both have an opinion. I choose to remain positive over things I can't control. I choose to spend my free time on other things other than bitching and complaining about a football team I root for. You do not.
