BOA Rocking Sunday?

Agree. Most of the crowd bashing comes from fans watching the game from their couch at home. If you don't want to see opposing fans at the games go buy the ticket they did.

As far as being asked to sit down how drunk were you? I have seen security ask one fan to sit down. He was jumping out into the aisle and they were afraid he might take a header rolling down the steps

I would go to every Panther game if upper-deck tickets weren't $100+ apiece.

Have you ever been to an opposing stadium? I've seen games in AZ, San Diego, and Washington not to mention games in Blacksburg and Columbia and I'm a PSL owner that doesn't miss games, I assure you outside of the Saints and Pats games last year, the average B of A crowd does not do its job.....

This. Most of the fans in BoA are lame. I used to sit in the 100's, but I thought the atmosphere in the 500's would be better. Instead, I sat in 526, with no one around me even making any noise, while the people behind me constantly told me to sit down.

Been to many opposing stadiums, and up until last year had never missed a home Panthers game (still own my PSLs, but health issues keep me from going to games now), and my experiences have not been the same as yours.

Seahawk fans aren't the loudest tho. Their stadium is designed like a concert hall for acoustics. Like their team it's a performance enhancing issue...also having "loud" fans isn't the advantage it's made out to be.

more then half our fan base is fair weather and negative fans that have no loyalty , dont get me wrong we have some of the best fans but we have some of the most unloyal which pisses me off like the asswads that rooted for the ravens , idk about yall but this team and this state is my life and i take poo like that personal . one more thing that botherd me the last game was all the steeler fans at the game . people say  bac is the best stadium for opposing teams which makes me sick , did yall see the video of the lone patriot fan at arow head stadium? i wish our stadium was jumping like that, at of all the stadiums i been too ours is the most quiet , lets change this fans i want bac jumping

Canopies won't help BOA.

Getting off our fat asses and going to the games will.  Canopies isn't an end all by any means, just an enhancement to the experience.  While I enjoy tongue-in-cheek comments as much as the next guy, you add nothing to the forum with this comment.

Everybody here is missing the bottom line.  Charlotte has tons of relocated people that bring their allegiances to Charlotte on top of the fact that our team is relatively brand new in comparison to every other team in the NFL save a few.  I was 7 when the Panthers' first game was played and so my kids are included in the first generation of fans to be born of parents that were lifelong fans of this team.  I know so many Panther "fans" that say they like the team when they are good, but go right back to their old teams if things aren't perfect.  They don't have as much emotional investment as those who were raised as fans, when your experiences make more of a lasting impact and are more important at that young age.

Once the next few generations mature and breed more fans the atmosphere will change.  On top of that, all of the inbreds will die off and be gone forever.  By that I mean those who are born and raised in the states of NC/SC and decide that somehow they are fans of Dallas, Washington, SF, Pittsburgh, etc will grow old and die.  There will obviously always be the LAKERSYANKEESCOWBOYSDUKEUNTIL-ITS-HEATANGELSNINERSHEELS kind of people everywhere in the world, but those that chose a team because they had none in this region will no longer plague us.

The problem is the culture of fans and the city itself, not the length of the franchise. There is a vast difference between "Philly Fan" and "Panthers Fan". Then you have a well-organized marketing of fandom in Seattle that MIGHT work here but the franchise cares zero about making it happen. What's the biggest thing they've done in the team's history? Add a drum bang, lol. You will always have laid back, banker boys in their khakis at BOA even 50 years from now. That's just what Charlotte is. There aren't enough SCPs and that's they way I see it always being.
