The offensive line play was quite good today.

"Worst offensive line in the history of football."

Is that why you made this post today multiple times in the Game Day thread?

It is called sarcasm.

I love laughing at the reactionary "fans" on this forum...you know all the ones who were sure the season was over by the second quarter of this game...

The offensive line was not good today. They gave up a sack on a crucial 3rd down play that took us out of field goal range. Byron Bell had a holding penalty that negated a nice pass to Olsen when we were backed up against our own endzone. The run blocking was streaky at best. Chicago was getting a lot of pressure and they were knocking down a lot of balls at the line.

The good news is we can win when our O-line plays like they did today. We really have a lot of room to grow. Now, how long will it take them to take the next step? We need to find that out.

Sack percentage today  5.7%...well below Newton's career average.

Only two QB hits allowed.

Newton for the most part had a clean pocket for most of the day.

The got some push in the run game.

Stop blaming the O'line for the batted balls.
