Rivera: Probably should have rotated Velasco in at guard; Trai Turner played the whole game.

Yeah he's rotating him in with the wrong guard.. He's worried about Trai but Amini is really sh**ting the bed

You could argue Bell is our most reliable lineman this season. How could you watch the games and single him out? Cam made a great point about the hurry up, it stopped the defense from rotating pass rushers. Sometimes you have to put guys in position to succeed. Tired dlineman can't beat our guys on the snap.

It should be no surprise our line graded well this week.

Is Amini still hurt?  I swear he played better his first year.

Not sure if he is still hurt but he is playing the same he always has.  He had moments but because he was a rookie every one anticipated a big jump.  It never happened.  He has always been horrible in pass coverage.  Sometimes he is really good in run blocking.  Sometimes he is meh.  It was no coincidence that the left side played better when Wharton replaced him.   His rookie year he started out being so bad, that when he got to just adequate it seemed like a huge improvement.

He is one of the players that people have a blinder for.  Because of his draft position, people expected him to be a corner stone.  He will play a good game then play 2 horrible games.  I started a post about him last year and got flamed.  He is not getting worse but he doesn't seem to be getting better either.  He is the same player which isn't a good thing.

You have to remember he was on IR most of last season. He played 15 games in 2012 and 3 games in 2013. He's basically stuck between rookie and sophomore status right now. Not trying to make excuses for him, but he is still pretty green, and coming off of a blown out knee.
