Pure 4-3 defense.

When was the last time the Panthers lost when playing a team that ran a pure 4-3 defense?

If I'm not mistaken, all of our losses last year and this year were against 3-4 defenses.

Seattle runs a hybrid 4-3/3-4.

I honestly think that our offense will be very productive against Cincinnati, and our D gets back on track.

I believe we take this one, I'm more worried about Green Bay and their 3-4 defense next week.

That may be true, but I don't think Pitt or Baltimore running a 3/4 defense had anything to do with them running the ball thru our defense like a hot knife slicing swiss cheese.

Agreed. It might have something to do with their DLine running through us, though.

You would think that the people getting paid to gameplan would notice our struggles against 3-4 defenses and plan accordingly...

It's hard for a team to just switch to a 34 week to week. It requires a specific skill set from your players.

Andy Dalton seems happy to be going against a 4-3 D in the Panthers as well:

What defense does Carolina remind you of?

“They're a four-down team, so it's more similar to what our defense does. We've been going against so many 3-4 teams, so we're kind of going back to certain things that are similar to what our defense does

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
