Why did Gettleman go away from the free agency plan that worked last year?

I can't be mad at Harper and DeCoud. We already knew they sucked. We can't be surprised or mad at them when they are who we thought they were. Gotta look at Gettleman and ask why the fug he signed them. Steve Wilks should've probably walked out of the building when he saw this roster.

Cason has a reputation as one of the spottiest CBs in the league since his first year. Cards fans and coaches were extremely frustrated with him.

I say pay whoever is producing for this team and be done with it. Which is pretty much Cam, Luke, Hardy.

 

I dont wanna hear about not having enough money for anybody else, Dallas has a better defense than we do and they are doing with second string players.

At safety--Ward, Byrd, Clemons, Adams, Doughty Whitner, Ihedigbo, Nate Allen all would've been upgrades and Ward was probably the only one most likely unattainable.  

 

CB--Munnerlyn wasn't super expensive but we wanted 6 ft + back there, Porter, Davis, Grimes, Verner, Patterson, Cook, Graham
