We deserve and need a day to be fuging pissed off at the abortion we saw on the TV today.  We'll all be back on the winning the division bandwagon Wednesday, but we need time to pass the poo sandwich we just ate.

I love the fact that I had to wait 6 days and 20 hours in hopes that we could at least be competitive, only to get all of it shoved back in my face in 15 minutes, and know that I have another week to get hope up again.

I think everyone still clinging to the hope of our 3-3-1 record is ignoring the fact that we started out 2-0 and then our D fell off a cliff. Our D looked great th e first two weeks but has looked like one of the worst in the league since. We've gone 1-3-1 since the 2-0 start and our D has given up 30+ in 4 of those 5 games. The arrow is clearly pointing downward, not upward.

Sorry to sound negative, it's just the truth. The only pounding I'm seeing is the one our defense is taking week in and week out.

The only positive right now is that the entire NFC South takes a pounding every week. We'll lose next week but we'll still be in first. New Orleans in two weeks on Thursday Night will decide our playoff fate.

Definitely agree there.  The only chance we have is if Norman and Bene come back healthy, and ball like they never balled before.  They would give us youth and speed in the secondary.  Another longshot is Hardy coming back after our bye week.  Other than that, our offense would have to score 40+ points every game just to have a chance.  We don't have the offensive scheme for that kind of fire power.
