The Seattle game *should* be a good game to watch next week?!?!?

sadly we're still in the mix right now. part of me feels like the 2-0 start and the fact the rest of the NFCS sucks has hurt our team. We aren't taking the losses very hard yet this season because somehow we're still in 1st place and thus still in the playoffs. If we were bottom of the division then maybe things would change.

Maybe we need to lose early so we have a hole to dig ourselves out of. right now our team is just wallowing in doing enough to get by. even a loss next week may not change that.

Marshawn Lynch 35 carries 189 yards

Russell Wilson 8 carries 69 yards

Seahawks 34 Panthers 16

We just cannot get a stop on 3rd down. And you're kidding yourself if we can all of a sudden lockdown Lynch and the running game like its nothing. I've never seen such a bad run defense before. It doesn't matter who we face, Peyton Hillis would be getting 5-6 yards on first down.

I hope he prepares the team.. this team looked un-prepared today! Starting to wonder the teams have figured the panthers plays out and the coaches are unwilling to adjust! But I think Pete Carroll will bring a can a whoop ass after the loss and the questionable release of Percy.. Caroilina needs this win or playoffs are done!

Hey, but the Panthers are in first place.

Do you think Ron Ron will do that? :phew:

I agree.

That string of defensive penalties that could have got Carolina off the field 3 and out-GB's first three series, but instead extended GB was unforgivable. You really gotta wonder what's going on?

That run play at the end of the half, which cost the Panthers precious seconds, is something we see from Rivera coached teams all the time, unfortunately. He just not the brightest bulb in a dim light shop.

We might have a chance then!

Yeah cause of that and being home, somewhat

But this defense is soooo bad right now. Unless changes are made, I expect a loss. Bene has to come back. Norman should start with White rotating. Tre overtake Harper as starter and as this point I might just move Godfrey back at FS

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
