Lakers Fans are the dumbest fans on earth

And Lebron wouldn't have as much success because men of that day were more physical.

It's a lot easier for a 6'8" 260 pound of muscle specimen to adjust to the older days than you'd think. Everyone always uses hand checking as an argument against today's NBA, but on the flip side, How do we know that the players from back then would even be great defenders now since they were reliant on being able to hand check people

Get back to me when you see a Chamberlain-James 1-on-1 game.

No Way Robertson Averages Those #s in Today's nba. Athletes & the game are constantly evolving. Just like russell would not be dominant today at a height of 6'9" guarding much more skilled bug men than he ever face that can play off the perimeter

Did i mention that he would? I just said you can easily make the argument that Robertson is better then james all time.

So, if I'm following this thread correctly, O.P. doesn't like player fanboys yet being one for LeBron is totally acceptable.

I understood the original premise of the thread, as fans of an individual player are alot more annoying than fans of a team, but you lost me when it became clear you had another agenda in this thread.

If Lebron tried the poo he does now against the Barkleys, Rodmans or Shaqs, he'd get knocked the fug out.

Clothes lined!

I'll take an opinion from someone who saw most of the greats play up close for decades, Chic Hearn.

He said the best he ever saw was Elgin Baylor.

But arguing who's better because of size or whatever is retarded. Go look at Offensive Linemen's size in the NFL in the 60's or 70's.

    • Well if we are being realistic doesn't what you just lined out already tell us where we are at? If the rookie UDFA kicker was the savior more often than not and we had a bottom 5 offense despite us having a #1 pick behind center who was billed predraft as a mini Payton Manning is that just going to magically change trajectory overnight with a tougher schedule added in? If we are going to repeat as division champions then it will be with the defense doing the heavy lifting. So keep adding to it.
    • Everyone keeps arguing all these teams have great TE's that made them successful. THATS BS! What makes those teams great is QB play and we don't have that. So again even getting a NON-INLINE TE who can run a fast 40 time isnt going to get us anywhere without competent QB play consistently. Which we don't have by a long shot. So honestly all these great teams have a TE argument doesnt hold water to me.  Mahomes would be nasty without Kelce, Lamar would blow you away without Andrews, does it help? of course any weapon will help but only if you have someone making those correct reads week to week. When we have that then I'd be all in on a game breaking TE but unfortunately we are stuck with one of the most inconsistent starting QB's currently in the NFL.  Not to mention all the TE's mentioned are COMPLETE TE's not just a receiving threat with drop issues which Sadiq does. Argue all you want but nothing will change that fact other than getting a consistent QB week to week in a Panthers uniform which doesnt seem to be happing anytime soon.
    • They don't have guidelines for hand size for the backup QB.
