None other than Mr Kelly Tripucka!! I said hello to him and he shook my hand and said he was really excited the Hornets were back and that it was good for the city.

Pretty cool. Seems like a cool guy and could have easily blown me off. One of my all-time favorite Hornets (although I say that about just about everybody )

Not too bad yet, but a lot of activity and excitement. You can just feel it. Pretty damn excited myself.

I have seen so much Hornets gear around town. Really different atmosphere from the Bobcats game I went to last year. Noticeable excitement

With all that construction traffic the light rail is probably the way to go.  Unless you live uptown.

Good call. I think I'm gonna uber it up there. I'm in Plaza-Midwood so that or the city bus are my options normally.

I'm glad the Hornets are back, really I am. But I wish some of these people would've supported the Bobcats more.

Kelly was really good on the broadcast! Dell and Steve had kinda gone into Bobcats blow out mode and Kelly brought some energy and positivity to the commentary.

Dear diary, I saw Kony Ealy this week at a sushi restaurant in midtown. He was decked out in all Chicago Bulls clothes. I could tell he was a Panther but couldn't tell which one. After he left I asked the guy working there who he was and he called him Tony. That's when I realized exactly who it was.

 

Also... my week has been nice other than that. I went to a concert in Asheville where 7 people OD'd and the cops ended it early because people were throwing bottles at the cops or something. Unfortunately everyone survived. I think the cops lied because they were only selling beer in plastic cups at the venue. Pretty good show other than that.
