Three keys to get that W

This idea that Ingram is some superstar is crazy, he's an average at best runner in a crazy committee. Get pressure on Brees and use Olsen we win

He's a really good back being held back by that RBBC.

If Payton could use RBs, he'd be deadly as fug.

1) Finish Drives- Biggest key we have is not going to be moving the ball, I believe we will and KB is in for a big game against a suspect Saints Secondary.  Problem is, will we get ultra conservative in the redzone, unless Shula opens it up and trusts cam to win the game with his ARM or his legs, we will not finish drives and we will not win.  Settling for 3 in the redzone will result in a loss.

2) Prevent the big play - The biggest killer for us all year has been the big play, when we keep the game in front of us and force teams to go 13-14 plays to score, good things happen.  This is amplified by the fact that Brees has been a bit erratic this season, so I think the more we don't allow him to burn us in big chunks and force him to throw it multiple times, the more likely we are to force some turnovers, and turnovers will be big in this game because on a short week, there tends to be more as we've seen on other Thursday night games.

3)Dline getting pressure - I know the big thing everyone is hammering on is the offense this week, and rightfully so, but our bread and butter is defense, and we need our front to stand tall if we're gonna win.  Big Money needs to have a good game going after Brees.  it's no secret that when Brees gets hit a lot, he isn't accurate.  They don't exactly have a great O-line, so we need to dial up CJ, KK, and Star, stop the run, and pressure Brees.  If we end up +2 in the turnover margin, we win and it won't be that close.

It's time, fug the Taints, time to go take our Division.  Sorry Taints, you aren't coming into our house and taking our division!

Defense - Stop their run game, try to get to Brees early and rough him up. He gets comfortable early, it will be a long night.

Offense - Throw the whole time of possession crap out the window. Shotgun, No huddle, Even some read option. This will not happen, but kidnapping Shula for the next 7 hours will do it

1. Pressure - preferably up the middle to prevent Brees from climbing in the pocket. That means we need big games from Star and KK as well as Davis when he blitz from the A gap.

2- protection: last year, week 16 here against the saints, the saints started a rookie LT against Greg Hardy. It was either his first or second start and it showed. Our unstaffed LT can't get abused the same way for us to have a chance.

3 -- touchdowns instead of field goals. Pretty self explanatory. I expect to drive the ball on this team, now we have to make sure we punch it in when we get down there.

We need to create turnovers in order to win.

Doing a good job containing Lynch gives me some hope for stopping Ingram.  I don't know why he's been labeled a bust by many.....he's a good back.

Ultimately I think this game comes down too stopping Graham and Cooks.  The speed of Cooks scares me a little.

Play football. This tam has looked soft and stupid for the entire first half or the season. We have a chance to do so,e good things down the stretch-we play a softer schedule than new orlean's tough route, we're gonna get healthier, and we may just possibly get Kraken back.

Go out there tonight and win. Don't make this as hard as it can possibly be.

    • I’m an optimist thru and thru. I love any win this team can muster, and Bryce did what he could to keep the team in it, but he’s why the team was out of it to begin with.  I like the guy, but he is not… he’s just not it… and I was swayed by the way he finished last season, but his physical limitations will never be overcome. A one arm tackle stopped him in his tracks en route for 6, among several other plays where an even average starter in the league succeeds.  A franchise QB is supposed to be his own cheat code. Bryce needs a cheat code dude, that is not him, to win. Chuba CARRIED (literally) his ass last season. Thielen bailed him out EVERY game he played in last season. Today: Rico turned in one of the best games in franchise history, Tet was unguardable and put up at least 100 yards on his own (PI yards included),  and the defense basically pitched a shutout after going down big so they could beat one of the worst teams in the NFL.
    • Jimmy came thru today I hope he is active next week   (2) NFL on X: "Bryce Young to Jimmy Horn Jr. on 4th down! MIAvsCAR on FOX/FOX One https://t.co/HkKw7uXVnt https://t.co/FYOfsxtAMk" / X
    • Rico 10000% saved Bryce Young from being benched for the Dallas game.  The way that game was going there was going to be no way to trot Bryce out next week at home if it kept going like it did.  Bryce probably is safe from bench risk until the next home and home presents itself.    He can’t be playing bad going into that next Atl game and then lay an egg in it.
