Hardy's Intent

Gin and Juice

Im not in the know so I don't know whats going on... but to me Hardy will want to play for a team that supports him. Which seems we have not turned our back (the team) the fans sure as hell have and its disheartening.

If he goes.. where does he go? He is a goddamn perfect fit for the Carolina defense and what they do and NEED to do. Hes black n blue thru

This concept is beyond idiotic. This incident is going to cost him untold millions on his next contract. Guilty or not, there's a public stigma around him and any team that signs him knows they're going to be taking a PR hit. If he ends up being found guilty, it's going to cost him big time. Even if he's not found guilty he's going to end up signing for less than he would've gotten prior to this ordeal.

Nope,

Some DE needy team will still sign him to a high market deal. They'll add requirements for some anti-domestic abuse activities and such. Up front guaranteed money will likely be a little lower than he would have got but in the end, there will be plenty of performance based accelerators that will allow him to bring the total compensation back up.

Exactly. That he is going to lose money is a myth. There is always that team that will view him as the missing piece to their superbowl push and will pay him like it. Of course they'll claim they did their due diligence...

Wow, I really hope hardy comes on here soon to tell us the winning lottery numbers...if he was able to predict that ray rice would knock out his wife on camera and cause himself to be put on the commissioners list (which I never even knew existed), then a few numbers should be pie.

    • I think i like the Oregon Safety better
    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
