We have no offense. No defense. No special teams. This is Gettleman's fault and he should be fired.

Ok you didn't make a statement about BPA like Frash did.

But i'll ask you since Frash isn't commenting.

How do you determine BPA in a draft if you're not using the experts (who get paid for doing that poo) draft rankings??

Unless you're running your own scouting service and go by that then I'm wrong. .n

I recognize that most of the 'experts who get paid to do this' - even the ones who are actually pretty good at it - are being paid by media, not NFL teams.

This is the reason why mock drafts generally don't get much right other than maybe the top five picks or so.

And what you seem to be forgetting in this argument is that a good number of the sources whose authority you're appealing to had Ealy ranked as a first or second round talent.

Hardy and CJ were both nobodies their rookie seasons. Sure I was hoping Ealy as a 2nd rounder would come in and tear it up and post 10+ sacks but oh well. He's flashed here and there, not sure what to make of him just yet, we'll see.

Hardy and CJ showed way more talent in less snaps. All while playing behind better players like Peppers and Brayton. Not Horton and Addison.

And what you're not getting is most of the same places had Moses in the same range. Which is what I was saying.

But again Frash said Ealy was the BPA and I want to know how he got that information if it wasn't from scouting rankings or draft analyst. .

Lol so you're going to key in on one acronym and try to discredit what I'm saying because you think the sports media created the concept of BPA?

You know how badly you'd be laughed off the stage in a real debate if you used this petty guerrilla strategy?

Do you actually believe we're the only team that had a high round rating on Ealy?

I'll let you in on a little insight, the whole idea of "OMGZ BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE!!!" is a media phrase that real NFL teams regularly ignore. It's something that is dumbed down and grossly oversimplified, a phrase to fill draft coverage, targeted to the joe smoe beer drinking mouth breathing casual fans, something even they can nod along with and understand.

Yes I'm dodging the question and bullshitting. It couldn't possibly be that I'm talking to an uneducated simpleton who can't understand that there's a context behind BPA that doesn't mean "...on a scouting report drawn up by walterfootball".

Hmm "more talent" as evaluated from internet poster "WOW!!". OK then. None of them really produced much as rookies, Hardy, CJ and Ealy all. As I said, I was hoping more out of Ealy but we'll see what happens. Many DEs turn into great players while only showing flashes as rookies, this is more common than not. From what I've seen it looks like Ealy will be AT WORST a decent rotational player, which at bare minimum makes it a decent pick.

Normally, you wouldn't have to break this down, but wow is losing the debate so badly he's got nothing left but ten year old movie references

Again Frash is the one who brought up Ealy being BPA when we picked him not me. I'm just asking how did he determine that without "rankings or analyst"..

So again I don't need anybody to tell me what BPA is, the origins of it, or who created it.

I want to know how Frash determine it without looking at or watching somebody who got paid to scout and rank these players. ..
