Hey Dave even Zack Mettenburger has better weapons then Cam. .

WOW!!

They are but a TE who has to help Block a lot and a rookie WR can be taking out of a games eaiser then having 3 solid Wr and a TE that can't be covered by a LB/DE. Add in a oline with more drafted talented then un drafted ones and you got something. .

Yeah.  You've got an offense that's scored the third fewest points in the league (counting tonight's points).

For reference, the Panthers are 19th in points scored.  They've outscored the Titans 215 to 168.

Shame we don't have their weapons, huh?

i'm reading threads from this week on titansreport.com and they don't like their recievers very much:

-When it comes to WRs, i want the Steelers or Packers scouts. They always find them.We never do.

-Outside of Wright, none of our receivers would be anything more than a number three on other teams.

-If this team could get a really good physical back and a really good top notch target at receiver for Mett the offense will get better. This offense needs more weapons.

-Wright is solid, Hunter ia mostly bust with a few booms, and Washington has shown his age.

-Hunters a bust. Another Webster fail. Can only run go routes, lacks toughness and attitude, has horrible hands, and doesn't justify his draft spot. He's the 2014 version of Bethel Johnson

-I'm liking Hunter less and less every week. I just don't see any signs he is progressing.

-Hunter's fundamental skill set is lacking. Can't these problems be rooted out at the combine?

-Hunter has been a disappointment

-I'm not ready to call Hunter a bust but I question whether he's starter material.

But he is not on pace for a 10TD season. It's the same WR per your argument. Actually he has 0Tds on the season.

Not surrounded by the same weapons or in the same system. .

Again Crotchety is a number 3 /4 WR talent. He's playing number 2 wr here.

You can't blame Cam for not being able to make a career #3/4 wr a number 2.

Cam can't make Crotchety beat better quality CB'S which he has to face as a number 2 wr.

Cam specially can't help him get better numbers behind this oline if it takes him 9 seconds to get open..

Thank god for Cam.

Meanwhile, Chucky is ripping 6th round pick rookie, Mettenberger, who is 14 of 22 for 258, 2TD's, 1int and a 115.3 QB rating...because Mettenberger didn't hit his last receiver quite in the numbers to maximize YAC...and there still nearly 10 minutes left in the 4th...

The NFL is littered with examples to counter what you have posted. Often, where there is bad QB play people assume the WR are not getting open, are running bad routes etc.

LaFell 10 games in has tied his career total TDs and is on pace for career high yds/gm. This was the same LaFell running routes, getting "separation" etc in CAR but how did we judge him? Look at Smith in BAL. Look at Ginn with us last year and the way we like to boast that Cam got him paid. If he was that good why was no one willing to pay him?

A good QB does more for a WR than a WR can do for himself.

Could you elaborate on this? I pied this and then had to take it back as I read it again. I'm just not 100% clear on what you're saying.
