Hornets aggressively looking to upgrade Wing/Power Forward - Appear to be looking to move Stephenson

PJ and Zeller need to start. It's kind of a cluster at g/f when MKG is back but Hendo and Marvin have no business being out there in any time other than backups.

Zeller brings a lot of energy and PJ is our best shooter. Neal should be 6th man. This team is just built funny and there is no need for Lance if he can't hit wide-open treys.

Sucks to think that our huge FA signing is the Mai. Reason why this team is not cohesive and it's not like PJ's lack of defensive understanding is any worse than Any other of our players at this point.

Trade Lance for a #1 draft pick and solid backup point guard who can shoot and we will be fine.

That is revisionist..bc a lot of guys liked the roster in the offseason. How few of us were ready to realize that McRoberts was the best player on the team in the playoffs in 2013.

If you were going to give Marvin Williams 14 million for 2 years you may as well have given McRoberts 20+ million for 4 or 5. You knew what you had chemistry-wise.

We are never gonna know Pjs potential with the amount of minutes he currently gets. I would rather find out now than later, we were not gonna make that much noise in the playoffs to begin with. And I agree Lance isnt the real problem, its that he is playing with similar players around him that all do the same thing. Playing besides MKG and Kemba is not the same as playing beside Hill and George. But Kemba has got to be better than what he currently is somewhere down the road, you cant deny it. I would kill to have a PG like Hillard or Wall.

At the same time, he's a marginal role player who has only found success with Steve Clifford. I have no problem with the way Cho approached his free agency, especially with Vonleh and Zeller who have much higher ceilings waiting in the wings. McBob just got insulted because he bought into his own hype and probably figured he would be riding lebron's coattails right now.

The problems with this roster are a reflection of MKG's absence and the negative additions of Marvin and Lance moreso than missing McRoberts.

MKG was and still is the most important player on this team. This current stretch and others throughout his career where he was injured bear that out.

It wasn't an either or situation with McBob and MW. We lost McBob, fine. MW should have never been given that crazy contract. Let Zeller start and have somebody else coming off the bench at a reasonable salary.

The only silver lining with MW's contract is that it is only for two years.

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
    • I'm not so sure. Something about the whole Frank/Bryce situation seemed off from day 1. Bryce didn't fit Frank's QB mold as well as Stroud, then he basically gives up when Bryce is named starter in preseason but gets virtually no reps in games. Then he looks completely unprepared and Dalton steps in in Seattle, has a decent game under immense pressure, and it's right back to Bryce. All his mechanics are terrible and he's having the worst rookie season ever and Frank doesn't bench him?  You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to know Bryce wasn't ready to be a day 1 starter. Everything with Bryce, then coaches, and the FO seemed forced.
