Carolina Could Have a Top 5 Pick in the Draft

If Carolina loses out their remaining games, they could very well pick in the top 5 picks.  Yeah Yeah 5 from 8 not a huge deal but it makes a difference in the later rounds.  Anyways.  Most of the teams that are ahead as of now in the draft, play each other. Just WASH vs NYG is enough to move Carolina up 1 spot by itself

I want a top 3 pick and trade out of it like the Rams and RGIII

 

That'd be nice, but I don't see it happening this year. Winston's got too checkered a past for any team to trade that many picks for him and I'm guessing Mariota will go 1 or 2.

 

Then again, the stupidity of some often amazes me.

We won't pick a QB. Mariota is Alex Smith 2.0, and Winston is too much trouble and his IQ is very questionable.

Winston is a dumbass but beyond that I don't think he's even that good as a QB.

He was 2-8, 5 Yd, 3 Int passing at one point Saturday against Florida, yet FSU was still up 16-7. He plays for a great coach on a stacked team.

      I'm looking at the schedule and I see a 10+win season easy.  I think Carolina goes undefeated in the division.  I also believe that the Bears, Bengals, Lions, Browns, Steelers are very winnable.  Revenge game with phillips and the eagles could be a win.  Honestly only 2 games I see as chalking up a L to off the bat is the Seahawks and Broncos.

      I guess so. Don't think I was involved with previous discussions.  Tepper is one of the newest owners in the NFL. Dan is going into his 3rd season as a GM - ever. Dave is going into his 3rd season as a HC - ever. Before becoming a HC, he was an OC/playcaller for one season total. Idzik is about to go into his 1st year as a play caller - ever. WRs are rookies, sophomores and 3rd year guys - though the experienced 3rd year guys are XL and Coker (who has missed a ton of games). TEs are guys going into their 2nd and 3rd seasons, and Tommy Tremble - though Sanders has missed a ton of games. QB has played 3 years. Chuba is an experienced RB, but Brooks and Etienne have taken very little snaps at the position. O-line is more experienced vets with some talent - which is HUGE. Need them to stay healthy. I mean the offense is very young in every aspect except O-line. You see it differently?
