Favorite breakfast place in Charlotte area?

Can't really comment on Charlotte since I haven't lived there for so long, but I do recall eating at a breakfast place a few years ago off of S Blvd that was a former strip club. Stripper poles still in place. Breakfast was good, but I felt as though I needed to go to the free clinic after my visit. One of the funniest parts about it was at our table, there was a big oil painting of a very Italian looking guy in a nice suit and some bling with a big wad of cash sitting in the restaurant eating breakfast. As we were leaving, we look near the front of the restaurant and there he actually is, eating breakfast, nice suit and some bling with a big wad of cash sitting next to him. Can't make that poo up.

Anyhow, if anyone is ever in Wilmington looking for a good breakfast spot, hit up Boca Bay or Bon Apetit. They are always consistently very good.

Are you sure it was a "former" strip club?

Sunrise on Albemarle rd. Been there forever and is always good

My parents went there are the time when I was a teen. I loved getting the country ham, with grits, 2 eggs and toast. Yeah I wasn't the skinniest teenage girl.

My wife and I usually go to breakfast with our neighbors every other week and we been going to La Peep. It's very good breakfast place located in Arboretum. Anyone has a favorite breakfast place?

Tupelo Honey

Just recently opened in Charlotte. I haven't been yet, but the one in Asheville is the best breakfast cafe in the city. I love that place.

    • He had a turnover on all three goals he was on the ice for. Plus he had that god awful delay of game penalty. Like legit his GS actually shows he was the cause of the loss and he was only on the ice for 12 minutes. You remove him from that game and the Canes win or at worst go to OT.  Let's put this in perspective, in 12 minutes he directly led to 3 goals against. In the 48 minutes without him on the ice it was an even-steven 2-2 game and that's disregarding that god awful delay of game penalty that led to goal number 4 of the 5 given up.      I don't see how anyone could say that he didn't directly lead to the loss.
    • reality is the piling on of Frank Reich is just the standard huddle angle we take of putting all blame on someone after the fact.   as I was an OG Frank hater before it was cool to be......now the swing goes too far the other way and people will claim me is as a Frank defender.  Frank Reich was the definition of a .500 middle of the road NFL coach.  He technically was a winning coach and above .500 coming here but he is and was NFL average.  we were the biggest joke in a decade.....because they paired Frank Reich (a dude who was going to do what he does in the NFL) with a dude who couldn't do NFL basics and Frank was forced to play him.  That's not Frank being a loser.  That a bad org around Frank.
    • Toronto is less physical than us, and they took them to 7  I really wish they would have won, because we match up better with them, but we have to deal with what we got  What worries me is Svech trying to take out Bob, that is desperation, that's what you do when you feel like there is no legit options left, it's what I feared, Bob is still in our core groups head, and they are over thinking, over passing Hopefully that changes tonight
