Jarrett vs Moore for third WR???

I really think Fox wants to get some great quality playing time for all these new young guys so he can see what they've got, and has his mind made up Jarrett isn't going anywhere. He knows better than any of us what Jarrett can, or can not do, so why not? He's been with us this long now, and I think Fox has this figured out. He was much younger than most going pro ya know. May be Fox's secret weapon for the regular season. :D

Which makes since. I would however like to see what Jarrett can really do, just like the rest of us that are starting to become a little disgruntled as fans. The fact of the matter is though we have our clear 1 & 2 WR's, so it's not like Jarrett is gonna ever get that many throws his way anyway.

AND......if we ever do start going to our TE's more, that takes even more passes away from Jarrett. He will have to show he can step up and play up to the level of Moose, and Smitty, or he'll be further on down the line, or on another team. It's just that simple.

Kenneth Moore>Jarret!Unless Fox is truely sandbagging his supossed awesome talent!

Thus far it certainly looks like the case with Moore. Rewatching the game, and on our 2nd play I believe, the pass to Barnidge that he couldn't hold onto.

Well....Jarrett ran his patter right down there to the same spot, and clogging up the spot where the ball was to be thrown to. That is how there ended up being about 4 dophin players there around Barnidge, and Jarrett just looking dazed. :)

Like I said, Fox may already have his mind made up. Lord knows which way it will go though.

Can we just get over Jarrett all ready, he isn't going to turn into ANYTHING. We need to add a #3 (possibly #2 in the offseason), but we obviously won't ...

1. Smith

2. Old Moose

3. Jarrett/Moore

...just doesn't cut it...

There are plenty of WR out in the 2010 free agent class...Lee Evans, Steve Breaston, Braylon Edwards, Vincent Jackson, Dominik Hixon, Brandon Marshall, Antonio Bryant...

Door number 3, wins the prize.

You don't know that any of those will be a better number 3 than Moore.

Foster starting over D Will forever? Kris Mangum staying here forever when he was complete garbage? Mike Rucker and Mike Minter staying here WAY past their time? Richard Marshall only now cracking the starting lineup?

Mangum wasn't a bad TE.

He wasn't what you wanted, clearly, but that didn't make him bad.

He was a good blocker and that's all he was intended to be.

He wasn't meant to be Antonio Gates.

He even had reliable hands as well.

He just wasn't a playmaker, and as I just said, he was never meant to be.

Kenny Moore looks like a seasoned vet out there that knows exactly what he's doing. Jarrett still looks like it's his first game out there.

I think it's a no-brainer and Moore should be the #3, but we know how Fox is with playing undeserving higher draft picks and veterans over the other guys. Although he took a step in the right direction with Barnidge over King.

Kenny Moore knows how to run routes. When Jarrett was at USC, he really only had a few plays for him and the routes were not complex. He was just bigger and quick. Now he's in the NFL and the talent level was stepped up. It hasn't translated for him. Kenny needs to be the 3rd receiver. He gets open and has great hands. He is a much more versatile player than Jarrett
