Bout time he caught up.

Dude, I'm as big of a Cam fan that you'll find anywhere... don't try that schtick with me.

Lol, bout time he caught up?  It wasn't anything about that, it was about giving the dude his props because I was always extremely critical of Luck as well.  Sorry, but Luck is better than Cam right now.  Luck, who has noticeably improved every year (in both stats and the eye test) actually took a huge step in the direction of becoming that guy the media has hyped him up to be.

Hell, statistically-wise he's the best QB in the league right now.

You talk down Luck like Cam is still putting up 4,700 yard 35 TD seasons.  He isn't.

Luck is playing well. I have said that many times. But we are running very different style offenses.

It is like saying a guy in a run and shoot offense is better than a guy in a pro style offense because the run and shoot guy passes 50 times a game and the other 25 times a game and you say "See!! Stats!"

Don't get me wrong, Luck has had a better season than Newton this year. I have given him props this year. But they are also running a very aggressive pass oriented offense, where we really haven't been.

That is also why he is second in the league in turnovers. Mainly because they are dropping him back so much.

Cam was featured similarly his rookie year. Thus he had better overall stats but is playing better now than he was then, IMO.

Still, Luck has had a better year this year. I agree with that

You mean a league where Nelson is better than Odell Beckham.

I don't know what league you've been watching the past month or so.  You can't turn on fuging ESPN or NFLN without hearing about how Beckham is the next coming of Jesus.  Every other segment is how Beckham has broken some other record.

Quit with the race poo dude, seriously.  It's beyond tiresome.

If Cam Newton jokingly uses a video game character to nickname one of his opponents, it makes all sorts of headlines. But if the Panthers quarterback plays a near-flawless game in a must-win situation with two broken bones in his back 12 days after crawling out of his flipped-over truck, it doesn’t seem to attract the same amount attention.

We must have watched different games.

I hate the "Luck sucks" talk I hear here and among other Panther fans, but this is spot-on. Luck turns the ball over A LOT but rarely gets criticism for it. If Cam had his turnover total, the talking heads would deem him a bust. Luck is good, but I love watching Cam play. And when he's on, there's no one better in the League. No one. Even Luck can't say that.

Cam would be afforded the opportunity to throw as many picks as Luck if he threw for 5000 yards and 40TDs a season while winning 10+ games every year. Nobody would give a poo about Cam's INTs if the other numbers match up. Problem is they don't...so INTs hurt more for us than they do for a team like the Colts who score 28 a game and throw it all over the field.

Mike Shula, Ron Rivera; someones talking to you!!??

FWIW: Luck, didn't throw for a lot of yards last season. The team actually went to ball control offense, and he still had a high amount of picks if I remember correctly.

But of course I get your point.
