Remember When We Played Seattle In The NFCCG In 2005

Unfortunately, probably a lot of truth to this.

Not likely ;)

I remember being in the corner, right when the 1st quarter was ending when Big Walt took Rucker for a 20 yard ride that ended in a 1 yard TD on the next play.

I also remember seeing Julius Peppers on the sidelines and thinking "holy crap". That dude was a monster and he could move. In warm ups he moved like a RB but was a massive guy and had the wingspan of a 737.

That collision with Goings happened right in front of where I was sitting and I seriously thought Tatupu was done. That was a very memorable game in a memorable season that was totally hosed in Detroit.

It didn't matter who was meeting Pittsburgh that year. When Seattle and Carolina became the NFCCG and the Steelers punched their ticket it was over. Too much merchandise on the line for that one. It would have had to been the perfect game by the NFC rep.

I understand that most people don't understand us, or don't want to. I don't think Panda Was gloating about the service, he was stating a fact. He could have went into detail about his clandestine operations, but he did not. He was just saying he missed it because he was protecting the freedoms of america. Btw, not all military people " play with guns" I would say %25 of the 1% of Americans gun. The rest is support, logistics, medical, air ops, legal, etc etc.

Ummmmm sooooo .25%

    • KP is not a straight up carbon copy but they look awful close to me.  T
    • You are right. At the same time I don’t think people are watching games going come on Bryce put it on the ground or sail it OB or whatever. They just have trouble seeing him turning his 3 or four or five top games of 2025 into the weekly standard outing. Which you expect for the kind of money he will ask for (speaking for myself anyway).
    • In terms of comparing Pickett and Young's arm talent it's basically a push at best. Pickett is sitting at 6.2 yards per pass attempt for his career while Bryce sits at 6.0 Last season Bryce was 6.3 in yards per pass attempt. Only Justin Fields Spencer Rattler (both 6.2) Kyler Murray (6.0) 41 year old Joe Flacco (6.0) 44 year old Phillip Rivers (5.9) rookie Cam Ward (5.9) and Tyrod Taylor (5.8) had less pass yards per attempt than Bryce Young in his third season as a starter. Folks going around acting as if it is beyond the pale to say Pickett might have a better arm than Young are living in an alternate reality. You can choose to not believe your own eyes after 46 games but everyone else will acknowledge reality and move forward accordingly.
