He didn't bobble the muffed one. He tried to block it like a goalie.

He did, however, bobble one later in the game.

He muffed a few and recovered it.

He actually bobbles it every game at least once.

not saying bersin is a good returner or anything but you gotta remember he's lined up 45 yards past the LOS....

 

..... and then the punter continuously banged out sub 35 yarders that he has to wildly re-adjust to. and it was misty.

 

probably not the easiest kind of punt(s) to field.

There was no reason to be anywhere close to the first 2 punts.

 

The first one that went like 30 yards was bouncing back toward Cardinal territory and I'm not sure why he needed to be near it. The sound one, there was no need for him to get down like a hockey goalie and block the ball on his knees. Saving the 5 extra yards was not worth in that situation surrounded by Cardinals.

 

I'm more concerned about his decision making in those situations than actually fumbling it.
