Crow SUCKS... And is not tasty

I am a firm believer in standing by what you say and if you are wrong then you wallow in it just like the glory we all seek.

I created post about RR losing his passion, losing his team and losing his way.  I jumped on the "start DA" train when Cam seemed like he was hurting.  I was beside myself when they put unproven rookies on the OLine to protect a QB that was already fragile in my minds eye.  I let my emotions get balls deep in my heart and that chit ruled me for a very long time.

That being said, I was wrong about it all.  I'm an IT guy, I suppose this is why no team ever calls me to consult a move or a player sending me a text on what he should do next.  Simply put, I'm a fan, and at times a sucky one at that.   I trolled RR's twitter until I was blocked for gods sake!! Looking back, I've learned alot this season.. The biggest you may ask?  Be a fan.... Be a fan when that chit hurts worse than Tabasco and bourbon the morning after a night out.

Win or lose this Saturday, this team has heart, this team has the potential to be very good for many years to come.. And last but not least.  Ron is a good coach.  I still believe he sucks at evaluating talent (I'll happily eat crow if this changes) but he is a good coach and his players love and respect him.

So, I go back into the shadows and I lurk until Saturday.  I will stalk twitter accounts for breaking news, of course come here 12-567 times per day but I'll watch.  So friggin nervous that I get pissed off at co-workers for trolling me about "there is no way the Panthers win".  In the end, my heart bleeds Panther blue and I love you all.

Glad that you fessed up.  Admitting the problem is always the first step. :)

That being said, I could never understand why any would think that Ron was losing the locker room. Every Player interview I heard this season talked about how they like playing for Ron and how it was the play on the field that was the problem.  Sure he made a couple of questionable plays, I.E playing not to lose vs the first ATL game.  But for the most part he is a players coach and the players respect him and want to win for him.  Anyone who says anything different is just speculation from their couches (in general and not directed towards OP).

I'll throw mine out there too. There was not a single point this season in which I thought we would win the division. We ended up with about two wins lower than I expected, but somehow still won the South.

Even going into the last week of the season, I expected to get heartbroken. But alas, we made the playoffs and my prediction of "...but the Falcons or Saints would lose their first playoff game and we would win if given the chance" did stand true.

Time to change your sig, Mr. Reasonable.

Congrats on the prediction, too.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
