lmfao @ the dumbasses that would take Fox back. Both Fox and Rivera are terrible coaches. They are identical to each other. Always a game away from .500 in their overall record here. Always played their favorites until their hands were forced to play someone else due to injury. Always played pussy football until we were almost or already eliminated from the playoffs. fug both of them.

lol Take Fox over Rivera, yeah, well Rivera has done something Foxy never has done before. Back to back Playoff seasons. It wasn't pretty this year but that's something you can't deny or take away from Rivera. Fox got complacent after the super bowl run. Screw his gum chewing golf clapping ass. I wouldn't trade Rivera over that lame duck jagoff.

Fox has been to the second week of the playoffs four straight years currently.

As bad as some of the decisions Rivera makes are, the whole team plays hard for him. That can't be overlooked.

Fox ruffled his players' feathers the whole time he was in Charlotte. They both had some success. Rivera isn't this team's biggest problem.

I think it's BS. Coach Fox finally has that defense playing well. The running game is working. The most disappointing part of their season has been Peyton Manning. Coach fox has made the playoffs every year since he left us. He made the playoffs with The Golden Calf of Bristol.

If I had to guess, Peyton is pissed because coach Fox is demanding the team run the ball and not turn it over. He has a point, They lost the Super Bowl because of Peyton, not Fox.

Peyton Manning gave up 43 points in the Super Bowl.

He never came close to that here and that's with much more sway over personnel and play calling.

You do the math deep blue

He did come close. 2003 Super Bowl, 2005 NFCCG, 2004 Steve Smith goes down 5 minutes into the season and the Panthers miss the playoffs on a blocked field goal.

He never got his back to back playoffs because key players would get hurt and we couldn't make it work. But it was close. It was always close. 7-9 was a bad season under fox. That was a culture change from Seifert and Capers.

    • And that makes you right.
    • Mel Kiper said he would retire if Jimmy Clausen wasn't a successful NFL starter too. Just because the experts make a claim doesnt mean it's true either.  Bryce may be a serviceable QB for someone. Serviceable QBs don't bring you a perennial winner or lead you to the playoffs over and over. Serviceable QBs also dont get 50m plus per year deals which is what a Bryce extension would look like.  The stats show he hasn't been even a serviceable QB in the 3 years he's been here. The eye test shows he hasn't put together 2 franchise QB salary games back to back in 3 years.  Complain all you want about people being negative, but people pointing out that Bryce is held to a different standard than anyone else on the team isn't complaining. It's stating the obvious.
    • We have big bodied WRs and 3 TEs who all have potential and each bring something different to the table. I never saw the need to go out there and try and find a new starting TE.  While it's nice to have a guy like McBride, Bowers, etc, I think a team's better use of the cap is by having TEs on rookie contracts or cheap vets, not having to pay elite TE money.
