The injury to Godfrey made this necessary. This could mean that Godfrey will go on IR (though I'm just speculating). Personally, I like this move and hope it's permanent; I also hope when Godfrey is healthy, we will work him at his natural position as CB. JMO

I like the move of trying Martin out at S and when Godfrey comes back to move him to CB. If Fox wants a CB or a S he should draft one instead of tweaking guys and moving them for there 1st snaps at the pro level. imo.

that is what i thought we should be doing all along. I dont understand changing people around so much either. I will say if godfrey is hurt and placed on ir and martin works out and captain is a good corner then fox looks like the smartest coach EVER.

Not a bad move at all, considering that Munnerlyn's surprising performance so far seems to give them another option at CB and that Martin mostly played safety in college anyway. This could actually work out very well.

Wish we knew if Godfrey actually would work out at CB, that way we could let Marshall walk when he wants a fat new contract at the end of the season.

I just hope we don't go shuffling people around once Godfrey comes back. Do what ya want with Godfrey, leave him at S or switch to CB, but for gods sake don't move Martin back out of S..

We should have learned this from TD... Granted circumstances cause you to duck and roll, but we have to keep stable to some degree as well.

I don't think Godfrey has the cover skills to play CB in the NFL. That is why hw was hidden at safety.
