Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah Dead

Once it drops below $40/bbl the oil industry is laying off 70,000 or about 10% of the industry. But you feel good about filling up your tank for cheap with oil used to support terrorism while our hard working American oil just waits for the price to go back up.

Sorry, not sorry.

Every industry has ups and downs, even energy.

What pisses me off about the cheap gas is, back when it got way high several years ago, the price of damn near everything went up because it cost so much to transport the goods. Now that gas is cheap, why hasn't the price of everything went back down with it?

I bet you would cut off your nose to spite your face. Once oil goes down so does the economy but you're more concerned with saving a few dollars a month but what you won't see is government programs supporting those out of work.

Go back to Twitter with the teenagers and telling me, "Sorry not sorry". The oilfield trash would have a field day with you

Some what Disagree. I think oil was overpriced at almost $100 a barrel but now oil is undervalued at $47 a barrel. I think true market price of oil should be somewhere in between. I against such a low gas prices and I also against high gas prices. Hope I make sense.

You mean paying a fair price for a commodity? That's just crazy talk.

Whoa man, what's your fuging deal?

Oil was overpriced, and everyone that was touching was getting rich at the expense of middle and lower class America.

I'm in an industry that took a beatdown over the last 10 years....I'm not mad about it, it's just how the cookie crumbles.

As for the "once oil goes down, so does the economy"....have you ever paid attention to what lower energy prices do to economies?

the fuel that was bought at higher prices needs to be used then, then the prices will start dropping.

My fuging deal is you don't even blink when you find out that 70,000 will get laid off. I'm done with you. You bring nothing to the table.

Where exactly is this number coming from, when exactly is it going to happen?

You provide specifics, and I will discuss it, for now, it's just you spewing words and anger since it's the world you live in.

Don't feel sorry for the 70,000 in the least. How many job were lost when skyrocketing oil prices caused companies to scale back or go under with fuel costs. If the prices hadn't gone to obscene levels in the first place most of those 70,000 would never have been hired in the first place. It sucks for you, and I get that but I know FAR more people hurt by crazy fuel costs than I do that benefitted from it.
