Charlotte in discussions for acquiring Mo Williams

Not a fan of giving up any future assets if the Hornets do actually go the trade route. Unless it's landing us a stud and shipping out some contracts or Lance.

The East sucks this year as usual, but the Hornets aren't getting out of the first round this year, if they even make the playoffs.

I would be slightly excited about the move, but honestly, I would probably feel that about any move lol. That being said, the thing with this is, Roberts has played really well in Kemba's absence to the point that I don't feel like PG is the position that we need to be looking at an upgrade for.

Good point, but as I said in one of the game threads...  I don't even care as far as Lance goes anymore.  I get the feeling that teams were lowballing us, so I say bump it...  We'll keep him and hope for the best.

That being said, anything to get Neal off the floor will do our team wonders, and Mo is a good scorer.

February 19th can't get here fast enough. At this point I dump Lance and Neal for whoever will take a chance on them for minimal return. Addition by subtraction. Look at the Pistons and Josh Smith.

(AP) — It had been a while since the Carolina Hurricanes had finished practice, with players coming and going from the locker room. Yet Logan Stankoven was still on the ice, leaving a crowd of reporters patiently waiting at his locker. Such is the dynamic for the 23-year-old as the Eastern Conference's top seed heads into Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs to face the Philadelphia Flyers. Stankoven has been rolling at nearly a point-per-game pace going back to mid-March, including scoring in every game of Carolina's first-round sweep of Ottawa. Beyond the immediacy of that spotlight, though, is the other piece of Stankoven's story: the Hurricanes are betting he can keep growing into the role as second-line center, coming after spending multiple seasons searching for an answer there.
