I know there's a lot of Drake fans on here.  Out of nowhere he dropped an album tonight, speculation said mixtape but this is an album.  And it's insane, I can't even make it through because I want to keep listening to every song multiple times.  What an artist.

Who else vibing with ya kid?

No download link except for 12.99 on iTunes. This is an album, although it sounds like a mixtape

If you have to tell people that "if I die, I'll be a legend"....you probably aren't a legend.

looking forward to hearing the rest of the mixtape though

It's a priced mixtape. kind of like how he sold so far gone for like 4.99. His Album is coming soon and titled "Views From The 6". Cary, if you have an android you can download it for free on the MyMixtapez app. iphones have the app too but i dont think you can download, but you can stream them for sure

It's on spotify too.

if it was an album it would've been a higher price, i think the usual 17.99, 18.99, 19.99, and it wouldve been a lot better quality, this isnt drakes usual album quality work which is why i cant find myself to believe its an album, if it is anything of an "album" its just a prequel to views from the 6. Drakes albums are on a completely different level  ... its crazy he is so good that people will pay 12.99 for a mixtape

So what is the difference between a mix tape and an album from his perspective?

I always thought a mix tape was something that was made in the 80's for your crush/person you were "going with".

Usually a mixtape is free, and is basically a hodgepodge of stuff like remixes and stuff not suitable for a full album, but released to promote it to show what kind of sound you're working on.

    • What's wrong with Damien Lewis? He played pretty well last year.
    • Official NFL Cuts Tracker Deadline for roster cuts is Tuesday, August 26th. At this moment (Friday, August 22nd) the only interesting names I see are... K Caden Davis (BUF) RB Ameer Abdullah (SF) WR Equanimeous St. Brown (SF) WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (NO) LB Khaleke Hudson (TEN) Abdullah, St. Brown, Peoples-Jones I don't exactly think we should cut anybody for but it was just interesting seeing those names. Khaleke Hudson was on the Panthers' practice squad last year I believe and might have even gotten called up? And of course, Caden Davis just because of the question mark at kicker this season for the team.
    • I'll say 6/10. I don't know that we learned a whole lot about this team during preseason that we didn't already know. We didn't play the starters enough to really get a feel for what to expect. We had one good drive against the Browns, one 3-and-out and two 3-and-outs against the Texans. That's an extremely small sample size across 3 games regardless of performance. My camp/preseason takeaways: Jalen Coker might be the best WR on this team and is certainly no worse than #2. Nic Scourton is going to be a good player for us. Possibly very good. Bobby Brown was our best free agent addition. Jack Plummer isn't an NFL QB. Not even a practice squad guy. Having anyone other than Canales and Evero call plays was a really stupid and pointless idea. Our depth is largely non-existent, especially on defense. The three areas we actually DO have depth are on the OL, in the WR corp. and at RB. I can't fathom why Dan Morgan didn't do more to upgrade ILB during the offseason. We better hope Lathan Ransom steps up at FS because if he doesn't we have a massive hole. For all the hype surrounding Sanders/Evans, Tommy Tremble is still the best TE on the roster. I'm only slightly less enthusiastic going into the regular season than I was a month ago. I think our starters on offense are solid and we should be pretty good there unless Bryce totally regresses. On defense, we're probably bottom 3rd in the league if 100% healthy and significantly worse than that if injuries become an issue. We badly need at least two of our rookies to become high-level players early (ideally one of the pass rushers + Ransom) and at least 2 of our free agent additions (ideally Moehrig + Bobby Brown) to be significant upgrades over last year. Call me pessimistically optimistic 😆
