NFL: Greg Hardy won't be reinstated because he hasn't been disciplined yet

What crime was Riley Cooper charged of when Philly disciplined him?

What crime was Big Ben charged with when the NFL disciplined him?

None of those scenarios are comparbale to each other and none are comparbale to Hardy. What they show is the NFL/teams can and will discipline players and it has nothing to do with the legal system.

You know Big Ben paid off the victim; a tacit admission of guilt

You know everyone saw Riley's video right, meaning he was culpable for whatever he was accused of. He was fined by the Eagles. How was he going to argue that to any judge? Conduct detrimental to a team. The team is made of majority black people.

Terrible examples.

McDonald was left off the list because his team stood up for him I thought. While the Panthers bent over and allowed Goodell to dictate who we activate and who we deactivate.....basically forcing Hardy to sign the list and not play, or, don't sign the list and still not play due to being deactivated every game.

McDonald would have had to agree to be on it. So the degree his team was really behind him isn't really known. Leading up to this year, the universal policy was teams really stayed out of stuff until stuff played out.

He was left off the list because he was not charged. The case however made the NFL look bad and by that alone, he should have gone on the exempt list according to CRA. Lmao.

So you know Big Ben paid off girls....despite never being charged with a crime. But with Hardy it is a great unknown?

That is pretty selective....

Riley example was simply illustrating there really is no point being fixated on court rulings and legal matters. NFL Code of conduct is what matters on if a player will be punished

I am of the opinion that if the NFL can prove Hardy paid her off, he will be suspended and rightfully so.

NFL never could prove Big Ben paid off those girls....and again he never even saw a charge he had to defend

First that was the second time and though no one could prove money changed hands, they SETTLED the civil suit. Hardy's charges were dismissed because the accuser was uncooperative unlike in Ben's case. Very different.

Second time of what? A rumor?

As far as Hardy....prosecutors in court weren't claiming they "thought" the chick agreed to a settlement. The State had reliable info on it. So let's not act like it is some mystery yet to be solved....and she was uncooperative as she toured the country with her settlement money.

But it is bed time for me

Still a different case from Big Ben's. Let them give the reliable info on the settlement to the NFL then. But as you have said, the NFL does not need all that anyways.

That is exactly what they did. If they had proof they would charge him with the felony charge of witness tampering. They have not charged him nor does it appear they will.

My opinion on whether he paid her off:  I think he probably did.  There's nothing even remotely concrete that showing he did just the court saying they have evidence (i.e. she made the accusation, but now she's not cooperating, so obviously they reached a settlement aka circumstantial evidence), but it was probably the easiest resolution to the whole ordeal so he figured he would out a chunk of money either way, either going to lawyers or going to paying her off.  Giving her what she was going for from the beginning was the quickest way to put the issue in the rear view of both himself and the team.

In regards to the Big Ben case, settlement papers were filed.  It was formally settled.  Different than Hardy's case.  And in Big Ben's case, the only reason I'm more inclined to believe he's guilty is because it had become a pattern, wasn't a first time or one time thing.  Similar to the whole Bill Clinton scandal.  Also because he's a Steeler.
