Easily one of the worst mocks I've seen for us and it doesn't look like a Gettle draft so I'm not worried.

 

That draft is a worse case scenario draft as in all the better picks unluckily went before our pick....If it came between Devin Smith and Agholor....psh no way we go Agholor....Lee is a better prospect than Agholor and we passed him up for Benji..doubt we pick those USC WRs.

 

DJ Humprhies is definitely a sleeper type of pick though so I can't say I'd be pissed about that...he's one of those start at RT year one move to LT for the next 10 years type of guys....actually the more I think about it...if you just swap Agholor with Devin Smith its a wrap and that draft is good.

Lee had injury issues and struggled in 2013. Agholor out played him and was more reliable that year. 

 

So I am not so sure about him being a better prospect. 

 

Smith has questions about his route running.

      I never thought a second look was even necessary. I was begging the football gods not to have us trade up to the 1st pick. And damn once we did it was a thoroughbred vs a little pony.    If you have a perceived generational player in the pool and you have the 1st pick, you just don’t trade it. In the first place. But all this Bryce drama - which (understandably) takes over almost any thread, just like this one - would never have happened if the team was not sold to Tepper.

      I agree. I understand why he did though. And surely he had his parents in his ear who have always gone out of their way to make sure he always had the best and the least amount of adversity around him to that point in his life advising him to do so. Where I take the most issue with it is when people who just want to be sycophants start listing off other QB's who didn't throw at the combine and you don't even make it through half the names before your eyes roll right into the back of your head realizing every single of those QB's who didn't throw already clearly showcased the necessary prerequisite physical talents needed for the position.
