**This is assuming we sign Greg Jennings and Alan Ball**

Round 1: Jake Fisher, OT, Oregon

6'6" - 306 lbs - 33 3/4" arms - 10 3/8" hands

Fisher remains very high on my list. He played RT for three seasons before switching over to the blindside his senior season. The Ducks pass protection improved after he made the switch. Scouts were worried about his athleticism heading into the offseason but Fisher has proven them all wrong. He ran the second best 40-yard dash time (5.01 sec) and by far the best 20-yard shuttle time (4.33 sec) of all offensive lineman. He has rare acceleration for his 6'6" frame and takes great angles in space. He can come in and compete for a starting spot at either tackle position or at guard.

Round 2: Jay Ajayi, RB, Boise State

6' 0" - 221 lbs - 32" arms - 10" hands

Ajayi is a smart, traditional running back. He keeps his legs moving constantly and can push piles forward. Has shown the ability to run between the tackles or to the outside with proficiency. Grew up playing soccer and developed great balance and nimble footwork. Explosive lateral movement and makes unreal cutbacks. He is also a weapon out of the backfield in the passing game. Finished last season with over 1,800 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards. Has all the traits of a three-down back.

Round 3: Gerod Holliman, FS, Louisville

6'0" - 218 lbs - 32" arms - 9 1/2" hands

Holliman is a skilled ballhawk who finished last season with 14 interceptions. He consistently made NFL-level reads. Fluid movement in space and can cover a lot of ground. Can bait QBs into throws. He will lay a big hit but his tackling is his main concern. Does not shed blocks well. Very high ceiling but will need to develop the physical aspect of his game to avoid being a liability in run support. Tre Boston may be better suited at SS, adding Holliman would give us the ability to move him there.

Round 4: Ty Montgomery, WR, Stanford

6'0" - 221 lbs - 31" arms - 10 1/8" hands

Montgomery is a superb athlete and is built like a rock. Thick, muscular frame. Has the speed to bolt down the field along with the quickness and agility to make solid plays after the catch. Not the best route-runner but has great work ethic and is considered a high character guy. He should be able to develop that part of his game. Also has experience as punt returner while at Stanford.

Round 5: Andrew Donnal, OT, Iowa

6'6" - 313 lbs - 33 1/2" arms - 10" hands

He's big and ugly. Has experience at guard and tackle. Wins off his technique rather than power or athletic ability. Comes from a program that seems to pump out solid OL prospects. Would add nice depth and competition.

Round 5: Damian Swann, CB, Georgia

6'0" - 189 lbs - 31" arms - 8 7/8" hands

Another appearance on my mock for Swann. I just like his value in this range. Needs to add weight and muscle but plays with energy and aggression. Also has solid speed and burst. Can be a threat on the blitz. Has trouble sticking with the WR due to stiff hips and lack of instincts.

Round 6: Jake Ryan, OLB, Michigan

6'2" - 240 lbs - 31" arms - 9 3/8" hands

Ryan can play any of the three LB positions but may be best suited at a 4-3 SAM. He has a stout, stocky frame. Explodes under blockers and plays with leverage. Shows great timing on blitzes. High effort player but lacks instincts. Nice awareness in coverage but only decent footwork. Would be a great STs addition right away with the potential to develop into a rotational LB.

Round 6: Obum Gwacham, DE, Oregon State

6'5" - 246 lbs - 34 3/8" arms - 10" hands

Moved from wide receiver to defensive end last season. Extremely explosive athlete but limited experience. He once ran a 4.52 40-yard dash and was a high-jumper for the Oregon State track and field team. He has the tools but needs to develop the technique of a pass rusher. Scouts see a lot of potential in him but it may take a couple seasons for him to become an effective player. Carolina would be a great place for him to learn the position.

Round 7: AJ Tarpley, LB, Stanford

6'2" - 241 lbs

Tarpley doesn't shine in any particular area but plays with great instincts and awareness. Takes good angles in his pursuit and is decent in coverage. Hard-worker. Can contribute on special teams and could develop into a solid backup to Luke.

If Ajayi is there in the 2nd, that'd be a great pickup.  There could be a run on RBs in the second round.  Gurley and Gordon go in the 1st, but some RB needy teams could go after Ajayi, Johnson, Abdullah, and Coleman.

    • 31st rushing D and 8 carries by Rico is coaching.  Rico is easily the best offensive weapon right now and it’s not really close.  *literally everyone knows Dalton is washed, horrible and shouldn’t even be a backup QB.   Drive 1? ZERO carries.  Coaching.  Drive 2 - Rico was playing great.   Did Canales lean into that or go for “balance”? Coaching. Drive 3 - ZERO carries.  Coaching  Drive 4 - 1 carry and opted for Jimmy Horn gadget rush (you can’t stick  with the Horn repetitive gadget runs each week and that’s not a better idea than getting Rico going)  Drive 5 - basically Dalton heavy as the half expired.  I don’t need to watch a game to know it’s coaching.  The gameplan wasn’t about setting Rico up to go off on a trash rush D.  It was bullshit harmony balance of the rush and the pass and making Hubbard feel good.
    • In the locker room after the Dallas game, multiple  players said FEED him when Canales mentioned Rico stats. That already made me think even the locker room wouldn't care if Rico got the touches rn. This is on Canales indeed and I agree n the Qb take.  We aren't winning  bc of Bryce  but he has been managing it. Had the Jets had Qb aptitude,  we could've probably  lost that game too. All they would've needed is 14 points. Regardless, we got a team  that's being built up and that position needs an overhaul.
    • I think he was trying to mimic the Lions with Montgomery and Gibbs. They are just more of the exception to the rule and Brooks was too much of a gamble to be a Gibbs type player. The Lions also didn’t sign Montgomery and draft Gibbs until their offense was nearly set. It was more of a luxury take the offense to the next level type of deal.
