I could see it. They wanted James last year but he went before they could get him. Why not move up a couple spots to ensure you get the guy you want. As long as they're very confident in the guy they move up for, I have no problem with it.

Well, only the top 51 salaries count, and only the 1st and 2nd rounders will make enough to qualify. So it's really not that much.

As I recall, a pretty solid percentage of this board was sweating like crazy till the Jets pick was announced.
