Leaked Batman v Superman Trailer

Why?

Personally I've always thought it was harder because some of the bigger DC heroes have been more archetypes so they have harder personalities to pin down on screen when they're all made to be perfect demi-gods

it's been Supermans biggest problem for a long time younger people generally don't like Superman becasue they view him as a boyscout with no weakness. Harder for people to relate to or simply find "cool" as opposed to Marvel characters that people can have fun with.

On the flip-side I do think if done right a Justice league movie could be a lot better than The Avengers.

Why?

marvel's characters are closer to human.

DC's characters are closer to Gods.

Some outliers exist (Batman/Thor), but that's usually the MO.

Ad a reader, I'much closer to relating with a Spiderman, or a Magneto than I am connecting with Superman or DarkSeid

Here's the thing most people see this trailer and go ok its different and could be good but I'm kinda skeptical. Personally I'm a comic book fan so I am genuinely excited.

DC fanboys look at it and... "OMG THIS IS PERFECT IT IS SOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN ANY poo MARVEL HAS PUT OUT I AM SERIOUSLY SHITTING MY PANTS OVER HERE IN ANTICIPATION FOR THIS MASTERPIECE"

Basically if you're not a fan boy and you're just a comic book fan you're cautiously optimistic. If you're not a fan boy and not a real comic geek you're seriously worried (just look at the reviews of the teaser.... I can't believe that's a thing but it is)

What cracks me up is DC fan boys still poo all over Marvel specifically the Avengers. The first Avengers was an amazing movie and was almost perfect. Basically everything that has been said about AoU says it is going to be the best Super Hero movie ever from critics mind you not fan boys. And the trailers have done nothing but back that up...

Yet DC Fanboys still poo all over it worse than Panthers fans do someone who questions Cam.

• Dick Grayson is killed at the hands of The Joker.

• Jason Todd becomes The Red Hood in the immediate aftermath.

• Gordon is dead (unknown how he died).

• Batgirl/Oracle is crippled and confined to a wheelchair thanks to The Joker.

• Batman is semi-retired when Kal-El first makes his appearance.

• Batman 'leads' the manhunt for Superman.

• Lex takes Zod's body and creates Doomsday or Metallo as a result.

• Lex convinces the public that Superman and his kind are the enemy in true political fashion.

Those are only a portion that I remember off the top of my head.

That sounds like a six hour epic not a 150 minute movie

My guess is some of these are gonna be flashbacks. Suicide Squad is going to play a large part of DCCU's future. So its likely gonna carry more weight about what The Joker has done, and set the wheels in motion for the inevitable Batman-Joker clash.

fug the Joker. We need the Court of Owls.

I don't like how DC is just forgetting their TV universe. Diggle is fuging awesome.

For the spoilers crowd, has Green Arrow been hinted at for the movie? I've always thought that using the Dark Knight Returns as a backdrop for the Batman/Superman fight, they could use that to introduce the JL as a result in the end of this movie.

I haven't seen anything about Green Arrow, but from what I've read by the end of BvS you will have a Justice League consisting of Bats, Sups, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman and Flash.

    • I would say the extremes from both camps in these conversations have to do with the blurring of the fact Bryce is a first overall pick and the expectations for that draft slot fair or not far exceed just being a top 20-25 starter amongst your peers. Regardless. All logical Panthers fans want him to be the answer.
    • The offseason is always when hope springs eternal. If you look past that, you can see a very bad roster with a lot more questions than definitive answers. Let's hope we get a lot of those right, because I think we are a lot closer to another impatient Tepper reset than we probably think.
    • These arguments are getting more and more disingenuous from both the pro and anti Bryce crowd. Bryce looked very good for stretches down the final 8 games. He finally showed glimpses of the guy that was projected as a top QB pick in the draft. Bryce also didn't look like a top 10 NFL QB.  I think we are so far removed from Prime Cam that we forget what an elite QB looks like. I could tell that when people were losing their minds and simping for Sam Darnold. This season needs to finally showcase Bryce as a franchise talent. If that doesn't happen, it's time to pivot. There are very few recent examples of QB's struggling or being a mixed bag through the first three seasons of starting and then suddenly becoming frachise caliber players.
