No way in hell would I have had us picking anyone other than Thomas Davis.

 

Outside of Davis, Evan Mathis and Geoff Hangartner though, redoing the 2005 draft is an idea I could support wholeheartedly

Shaq has gotten every bit of Panther love as any playerin memory.

Yes, TD has been the consumate Panther and earned NFL-MOY,.,,,No reason to doubt Shaq at this point...especially considering that he

is the player being brought in to eventually emulate TD

I'm by no means doubting Shaq here. I like the pick and I think he has all the tools to do very well in the NFL and maybe one day fill TD's shoes. However, those are HUGE shoes to fill. We can see Shaq's talent on film from college ball but we really have no idea how he will transfer to the NFL. I have faith Dave can pick out those types of tell-tale signs but he has to prove it just like the aforementioned legendaries did
